THIS. Are you listening BioWare? Is this in your power... or are just going to focus your resources elsewhere?

Great thread and kudos to the OP for such a well thought out post.
I personally would be happy with ANY additional dialogue. Post game preferably. Plus any additional friendship dialogue between all crew members. I don't want to be forced to romance a crew member when I only want to get to know them better. Just because you come by often, doesn't mean you want to sleep with them!
However I can only hope that whatever DLC bioware has planned for the next couple of years will be 100% better than the half-assed DLC we got with ME!.

I really like this idea.
I think its a great way to develop more background with characters.
And if this hasnt been said already-I think there should be packs for the romances from ME1.
That way if you choose to stay loyal to them you actaull can get to know them more also.
If you chose to cheat then you can make a choice on which one you want to know more by downloading thier pack and/or you could do both packs and it will make the confrontation in ME3 that much more interesting.

Right on. I was also shocked that there wasn't ANY postromance dialoge with Miranda. I was kinda upset.
Great Idea. I support

Never read this thread before (I'll admit my cynical eyes were wary), but there are some neat, interesting ideas brought up here... a showdown with Miranda's father and/or his lackeys, or an attempt to find out who Jack was before Telton would really be something I would jump at.

I really love the OP's suggestion about the romance DLC and would love to see this happen.
It would be nice to see some more post-suicide mission romances developing with your L.I., after all, she went to hell and back with you, I'm pretty sure than bonds two person together more deeply than we can imagine.
I'd pay anything to get my hands on this kind of DLC.

It would most certainly be interesting. I support anything that gives extra depth to the plot and the characters.

This is a great idea and would trump previous Bioware DLC (sorry Bioware, I love you guys and your games to death but your DLC is lacking). I would love to see this made and would easily pay $10-$15 for it.

Via expansion pack we should be able to take all of our evidence from ME2 and jam it up the arses of the council, bootf*ck that turian councillor and demand the alliance wake the hell up.
Planetary expansion packs would be killer, make those planets that sound really cool when your scanning them accessible. That could just be DLC though.
Keep the planet scanning. Introduce an imaging system upgrade that allows you to see resource "hotspots" on the planet surface. For example: while scanning for for platinum you see concentrations of it on the surface, move your crosshairs over the area and launch probe. Same for the other minerals. This would make the whole process faster and more enjoyable.

This is a really great idea, but I don't know how easily it could be worked into the current structure of the game. Hopefully BioWare will at least consider the possibility of continuing the romances, and hopefully they can put out some DLC along those lines; I definitely think it would be awesome, and I'd totally get the Tali ( <3 ) one
.
Concerning any other DLC, I personally would love to further explore the situation between the geth and quarians, though I am certain it will be covered in ME3; to not do so would leave far too many things unaddressed and so little closure with both parties. Plus I love the quarian people, and frankly I like fighting geth more than anything else, though these would likely have to be relatively diplomatic missions, for obvious (I think...) reasons, so the geth-fighting would likely be kept to a minimum, if it's done at all.

I really agree with OP, character interaction is definitely one of the better parts of the game, but it seems to be cute short. Especially when it comes to relationships in general (as in, enough with the calibrations or cleaning the engine excuse!), the dialogue could be so much better...
I, too, would give my right kidney for this sort of DLC. I think it''s a great idea!
Edit: OH, and I think another part of this DLC that is a really good idea is giving more details about Shepard's past, it's mentioned al of three times, maybe, in the ME games.. Considering how interesting the backgrounds are, they should put more in game content about it..

An interesting idea overall, I just have one issue...
With only the 6 from the game, I'd end up paying $75 for the lot of it. That's more than the price of the game altogether. I'm already pissed at Blizzard for making StarCraft2 broken down into three games, making the price triple. Way too much money for content that would only be seen for each character once. At least the rest of the DLC for ME/ME2(so far) is available to every single character. I wouldn't want to pay $12.50(plus tax) for single-use content.
Cost: 800-1000 Microsoft Points per pack (I’m not even going to try to figure that out in terms of real money).

I'm afraid the Romance Pack(s) would do 2 unwanted things to Bioware. 1) Move the character story arcs forward too much possibly complicating an already massive web of possibilities. 2) Be minimally profitable because of the voice actor time.
Not to say its not a good idea though.
What I think would be great without causing such complications is a new 'Main Quest' after the suicide mission. This would revolve around 1 thing, Shepherds recognition of his/her need for independence.
In ME Shepherd was completely dependent on The Alliance for material and the Council for info.
In ME2 Shepherd was completely dependent on Cerberus for both.
As ME3 will likely involve some sort of Coalition construction, it seems unlikely that Shepherd can have direct ties to any one organization. (the Krogan and Batarians hate the Council, Council species hate Cerberus and the Quarians, etc.)
So a suitable caveat between 2 and 3 could establish that independence.
My hope is for a main quest to establish some sort of financial empire (Company for Paragon, Mercenary Group for Renegade.) At the start it could be mining resources from the Normandy then either buying ships which would mine resources and generate credits or assembling mercenary bands to take on thug like missions. Tons of side missions are conceivable within this framework and while the concept may seem a bit boring at first that is only because it is rather narrow in scope (perfect for a DLC/expansion.) The mission could culminate in a confrontation with either the Blue Suns or Edfall-Ashland with a [very] hostile takeover as the end of the Main Quest.
Ideas and Comments are welcome.

The only romance I would want to further is the Tali romance, so buying that wouldn't set me back very far. Unfortunately, i think it would be appropriate to include any such Tali development with the expansion, which had better be about peace/war with the geth. Otherwise Bioware would be sidelining a huge event in the interest of developing the plot in ME3. Both sidelining and plot hindering are unacceptable, so a geth/quarian expansion is logical.

Hair & Armor & Clothing

Hell at this point, I'd amputate my foot just for some interesting DLC straight from the fans.
