Alright why not. A while back i had come up with the idea of a new character to be added into the commander's squad. The orignally idea came from a group i had joined though, i thought that the idea was stupid and there was no way of making this possible. The idea was having a Collector into your squad.

Back then i had several ideas but, all seem to have been done before by others. Of course having a past enemy into your squad has already been done by bioware(Legion) yet i eventually thought or a loop-hole that bioware could use.

One thought i had was possible a collector was able to break the control of the hive mind or, Shepard was able to "reprogram" this collector. So finally i came up with the idea,an great loop-hole, that this collector is also part human.

The Collectors had to be running experiments on humans or, other races as well. Hell you have a robot based a collector tech, that runs on the power of human heads. The idea is that some poor grunt of a solider or a random civillan  was captured and experimented on. Evenutally they begun to infuse collector DNA to this test subject! Of course there will be other failed subjects too. So now these Collector hybrid has no memory of its past and you the great amd helpfully Commander Shepard will help the Collector regain its memory OR be a total jerk and just lie about its past!

As for how you find the Collector Hybrid and its origin sotry...Well im still crafting that story. Hopefully i can get some help and read the people's opinions. Also i was able to draw some concept art and it is in my photo collection so, feel free to take a look. 

Hopefully i can gain some support and eventually see my idea brought to Bioware! And don't forget to thanks abletankbuster and his group, Survivors of the extinct, for giving me this idea.

I would not like bioware wasting time and resources on a romance pack when they can waste it making a dlc like overlord, or the shadow broker dlc.



There are a ton of dating sims on the net, if that fills your niche.

Everyone who keeps bringing up the Sims and dating simulators...While that is a part of this idea, the point of the idea is to get more of the characters themselves.

No zing. You have Kesha and anime in your sig/avatar, and you're trying to make dating sim jokes. Fail.

Also, +1...though I'd prefer more of an overall dialogue pack WITH some LI stuff, as some of the characters get very quiet if you don't romance them.

I'd totally buy a DLC that expands the LIs. (And if a ME1 LI is present, adds some drama) Just no "Go on a date with Miranda" thing. I want dialogue, maybe additional missions, decisions..

I need to briefly address this:

I despise dating simulators or anything of their vile, disgusting kind. All I'm saying is that the DLC BioWare produces would be of far greater quality if they prioritized emotional connections to the characters or the Universe.

I'm not after some sort of romantic thrill I am starved off of in real life, I merely want to be immersed further in the Universe. That is done via feelings the player has towards the universe itself, and the characters that inhabit it. I mean, half the fun in Dragon Age was getting to know and understand your companions and your character; you grow fond of them, you grow protective of them, and you really are sucked into the entire thing.

Mass Effect would certainly benefit from some added emotionally powered content- I'm not saying my particular concept is it, but it would act far more immersively than a l33t mission to kill a supa-Geth monsta with your companions silently staring at you.

Anyway, that's another bump for this 7 month old husk of a thread.

I am completely in support of this idea. I want more time with Garrus, and it would be nice to know our chars on a much more intimate level.

Solution: Get out of your room and get a real girlfriend/boyfriend.



I don't want to sound like a "hater" or wathever you internet kids call them, but BW won't be releasing a DLC this late for ME2 (unless they pull a Pinnacle Station on us. wich seeing the feedback on it last year, wasn't very good, so Im guessing that won't happen.



Second; ME3 will focus on the war and derailing to get sexy time with your virtual sex doll would seem kinda... unreal, with all of the sh*t going down in the galaxy because of the reapers.

I want to romance Kasumi. I would drop Tali in a heartbeat. Her poem in her LotSB Dossier suggests she has the hots for Jacob though.
