Just a quick question, how do I buy bioware points to spend on DLC?

Select 'Profile' to the left of this webpage, and then 'Add BioWare Points'

Like for Tali, you could go and help her bury her father..etc.

Co-incidentally that was my original idea for her quest, you could travel to the Quarian homeworld to give her father an appropriate send-off. It could involve some negotiations with Legion to have the right to go there.

As much as that would be a nice idea.  I doubt Bioware is going to do anything with the Quarian Homeworld until ME3.   It would more likely involve a simple thing, of just being there for Tali and maybe even making a speech as Tali's Captain at the ceremony.

There could be other issues too, like who maybe political BS about who is taking her fathers place on the Admiralty board.  Tho, it would be cool if Legion could be included in this and you could maybe facilitate 'talks' between the two races.  Again I think though, I think that will be ME3 stuff or interlude things we'll never see, only hear about.

True, big locations like that should be withheld for now.

800-1000

thats where i have to disagree...

that seems to little for a Romance Pack for each character.

I think it should at least be around 1200-1500.

seems more reasonable.... hell i'd pay over 9000 microsoft points. just for an expansion in Tali's Dialogue and Love Affectionate Attitude.

Hell having a Planet where you can just relax with you Romancable Partner would be nice too... like a Spa or an R&R planet.

i heard from futurama there is a nice Spa on Mars.

BioWare wouldn't get many sales at 1500, maybe at 1200, but more than that will generate complaints. Good idea on recreation areas though.

I love this idea and I'd pay twice a normal DLC package price for more romance content. Crazy, I know, but I can honestly say it would be worth it. What makes RPGs special are the relationships (platonic and romantic) that are built between characters. That's what makes this DLC idea great. It would certainly be ground breaking for Bioware to try something like this.

Searching for the remains of lost civilizations is what I would love more than anything else in an expansion pack. We have at least 37 million years of galactic history to explore, so let's move beyond the Protheans and really delve into the lore.

I like the idea of the romance pack but what about The geth homeworld pack or the local cluster pack OR The Pack that lets You shoot geth with your mako again with out the hassel of being stuck on a mountion?

I would also be very much in favor of a romance pack. (even if it cost as much as one of the Games on Demand)

I for one would love a DLC that contains more armors and somekind of squadmate armor that you unlock IF everyone is loyal AND everyone made it out alive. Not only changing the skin, but also the model. For example:

A non-cerberus armor for Jacob and Miranda. (no cerberus tags on it.)

A fully clothed Jack armor option. (baggy, something that makes her look like a tom-boy.)

A non-damaged Garrus armor. (preferable an upgraded version of ME1's phantom armor.)

A non-damaged Legion armor. (preferably more N7 armor to cover the "hole".)

Zaeed's 20 year old Blue-suns armor. (bit tattered, paint wearing off.)

ect. ect. Everyone get's something new... also Shepard, more armor parts, what we have now is really limited. Also some changes to Shepards Captain's Cabin. For instance, on Tuchanka you have Urz, if u feed him some meat he'll follow you each time your on Tuchanka, strange thing is you can't take him with you. What if he got hes own spot in the Captain's Cabin? :D

Also where is Shepard's VI? He could instal it in his Captain's Cabin or it could make a great gift to your love intrest if Shepard was ever MIA or KIA. a kind-off momento...

I would buy this in a second. However, since ME2 is mostly marketed as an action game, I doubt that'll happen. I would prepare yourself for lots of mediocre shoot 'em up DLCs and some gear.

Its a shame because there really isn't nearly enough dialog and scenes put towards this. There are 3-4 dialog scenes leading up to a romance, then the "sex" scene and thats it really.

A shame when I spend all that time looking forward to one, only for nothing to happen after. I wasn't in it for the sex scene!

So you'd rather just have random pieces of armour that would give you 5 minutes of looking time, than something which captures the true essence of Mass Effect and your emotions?

I'm all for personal tastes, I'm just wondering on where your's originates.

personally, i was thinking about a pack like this when i initially beat ME2, and liked the thought. I personally don't believe they'd do anything like that, but i'd definately love to see a continuation (particularily Tali) of the romances.

Pretty sure we're getting DLC where we have to stop the comet from hitting that Hanar colony, like it says in the Cerberus news channel.

Bring Down the Sky 2.0...

And as to the OP:

You obviously must be some asari child with an idea like this! (Remark only made b/c of how you ended your post...I believe this adequately covers both your sexuality, gender, and age in as amibiguous a way as I possibly could in one statement)

The afformentioned comment having been stated I must end this post by saying that I do indeed like the general idea you are playing with. Would love to see more development with Tali in my playthrough.

haha you kidding? they'd get twice as many sales.

either way. i know alot of people are gonna get it.

no way in hell anyone would pass this DLC up, i don't see anyone in their right mind passing up a Romance DLC
it adds dialogue and maybe adding a couple of armor pieces and weapons wouldn't hurt.

but then again i'm not a developer so i wouldn't know...
but adding more dialogue shouldn't be so hard... and adding a couple of interactions between characters to give it more of a feel and depth of each character. plus who'd pass up making a stronger bridge for each character to the big finale for ME3

The Romance pack DLC is the great idea, but there's one problem. How the hell do you expect Bioware bring the voice actors back to work on post-game dialogues? The VAs are pretty much busy, like Yvonne is busy for acting in Chuck and I dunno about the rest.

There was another DLC thread where someone suggested the idea of going on a date with your LI post suicide mission, only to be interrupted by a Batarian slave grab/pirate raid and ending up in a shoot-out ala the cruise ship sequence of Fifth Element. Something like that could probably fit into such a pack as well.
