I've now done it twice with everyone surviving, and I tried to mix up the people to test what's been posted here. So to confirm, assuming everyone is loyal the following work:



Tech: Tali or Legion (Mordin works? I need to try that for myself, I'd love to hear more Mordin dialogue)

First Leader: Garrus and Jacob (Miranda works also, haven't tried her though)

Biotic: Samara and Jack (I've heard anyone else fails, has anyone tried Morinth?)

Second Leader: Garrus and Jacob (Miranda also)

Escort: Mordin and Jacob (Supposedly *anyone* will do, but these are who I've used)

Ok for the two thats gonna be with me for the fight i was thinking to take Zaeed & Samara would that be ok or would Samara get over work ? I used these two in a mission before & they tore ass with Collectors Rifle during a side quest . Any thoughts on how these two would do

Who did you use for youre Squad Mates for the Final Battle ? i was going to go with what i  listed about i sent Grunt with the crew . & jack is not Loyal .

I took Morinth for the barrier, and for the final fight, and she was fine. (she got tired at the end of the barrier, but she still did the final big explosion)   So you don't have to worry about "exhausting" her.  (presumably Samara's the same) 

EVERYBODY survived, got the achievement.

Wow just beat the game and guess what Jack dies some how i didnt even use her one time during the entire last mission .

every one else made it and lived i just seen a glispe of a dead body where the collectors were fighting and caught it was her . kinda wish i could of seen what happen . But wow what amazing game very happy with it . Thank You Bioware & EA for such a great story and game . Never played MA ever and now im hook 100 plus hours of time i put in my 1st playthrough .

Escort - Don't bother

Distraction Lead - Mordin

Biotic - Jacob



Don't bother upgrading the ship, it's pointless.

MasterP, if you dont upgrade certain items on the ship, people die before you even land. I believe it's the armor, the kinetic shield, and the gun.



ALSO:



If Jack is NOT LOYAL and you use her for the biotic barrier, you will lose someone. (Poor Legion. "Error. Error!"



Also, I think if one of your final 3 against the boss is not loyal, they die.



I did a run through using Jack for important stuff just to test. She got squished by a metal plate.

That was my failed attempt at sarcasm. I keep seeing people cry about who died when they make horrible decisions and pay for them. I apologize for not being clear that it was sarcasm.

This was my Team everyone was Loyal that i used as noted Jack i Did Not USE.



Legion Vents .

Garrus Team 1

Samara Shield

Grunt Escort

Garrus Team 2

& Zaeed Samara & Shepard For The Final Boss



Plus i had all the ship upgrades all 6 . Strange indeed 2nd playthrough will be different with Jack lame ass . that's the person i really didnt care to much for in the game everyone else was great & look forward to them in MA3 .

This is 100% guaranteed to work as long as everyone in the team is loyal.

I think people can die if you waste too much time fighting the boss so having this setup with everyone loyal doesn't mean everyone survives.
