Have you had any injuries?

- both kneecaps dislocated several times (hence the nickame)
- right ankle broken
- rib fractured
- dislocated my left thumb
- concussion
- temporary blindness in left eye (other guy poked my eye with a finger. He says it was an accident)
- One time I kicked a ball slighty wrongish manner and my nail flew off my big toe
- countless of nosebleeds while fighting for a ball.
All of these were "acquired" while playing football (the sport that americans call soccer). And I'll continue playing as long as I can walk. Never gonna abandon that sport.
So, do share, if this topic is appropriate (wow, that word is quite hard to spell, and I'm sure I spelled it wrong)

I'm disgustingly lucky.
My worst is this one time when me and my friend tied our bikes together when we were younger, and I sorta went flying face first into the curb of the sidewalk. Not a single injury besides a few cuts and scrapes.
I've also fallen out of trees, gotten hit with baseball bats, and I once got tackled pretty badly playing American football with some friends. I jumped up for an interception, and I got tackled onto a root of a tree. My ribs hurt really bad, but I got over it. Having someone who is twice your weight landing on you is not a pleasurable experience, either.

All of those are over 10 years old. Haven't done any dumb s**t lately (though my knee tends to act up once in a while...). :-)

When i was three my older brother threw my tricycle over the fence and it landed on my head which promptly split open.
Nothing but mild scrapes untill i was 10 and when chasing a friend around his house put my entire arm through a plate of glass, tearing my right arm open in a in U shape so that a rather thick slab of skin and muscle just kind of flopped open (all i could say was "huh...wow...can i sit down") showing me just how lovely i look like on the inside. Twenty stitches on the outside but the surgeon lost count on the inside.
Broke a tooth on a piece of chocolate.

I have fractured my wrist from a motorcycle accident along a sprained arm and leg along with a small concussion..
I have a scare on my back and my head from my car crash last November wrong when I semi with no lights on at nigh weaved into my lane and I hit its trailer. I had a 02 Toyota Celica gt-s. if you know the car, then you know its very light and very small. it bent in the roof which is what hit the top of my head... ( yay for small people cause if I was taller I'd have no head) how I got a gash in my back right solder I really don't know guess something hit there on impact..
Also have a scar on my arm and by my eye which is not really see able. But I got that from a dog attack when I was 5..

I've had my middle finger fractured from sparing, along with a sprained toe from sparing and fingers..
I thought I broke my nose once...
Drop kick to the face, and rivers of blood. It took for-ever to stop bleeding.
And I've had my fair share of bloody noses...That was the worst, by far.

Klutzes can join the army?
Oh, right. Sweden.
You know, I think I have disturbingly dense bones, or...something!
I mean...a busted knee from tripping ("badly")?! I've fallen from trees (we're talking fair-sized mama-trees!) onto my back, and got up and laughed about it. If you fell out of a tree, you would explode.

LOL, well here's how it happened.
The first knee thing was when we was out on patrol exercise, we was going to ambush a sentry post but didn't really know where it was. It was night. So the order was, up with flares, and run across this field and attack. Fine, except the sentry was actually just there to our left and somehow the communication from the dog squad hadn't reached us. So, flare goes up, we run... they start shooting..
We start shooting back while running, and I ran straigh into a whole pile of iron bars. It hurt like a son-of-a-**** but luckily didn't ruin the knee.
Second time was running between two buildings daytime, I had full gear and started running, slipped on a slippery stone, tried to make up for it by running faster, but fell forward and trying not to slam the rifle in the ground you basically take the fall as it comes, with all the gear on. And I smash my knee into this small but cleverly places rock and that too hurt like a son-of-a-****. Was messed up for the whole weekend after that, then I could walk properly again.
The finger... lol... it was basic training and we was going out on a patrol in a vehicle. Since we had the gear on, bullet proof vest and that I was heavier and decided to use the pole(?) between the front door and the back door to help swing me inside the van, when the dude in the front seat slammed the door on my fingers. Yeah, just poor luck really.

Let's see:
- I've broken both of my wrists three times. Twice on my left one and once on my right one. Two times in two seperate car accidents (drunk driving FTL) and once skateboarding.
- Broke my left ribcage during a fight at some party i went to, getting kicked in the ribs with a steel-toe boot. Broke my right ribcage in another skating accident.
- Had my middle finger crushed by a closing door and my nail just detertating. Also, dislocated it while working on my car.
- Broke my thumb, index and middle finger while moving stuff and having one of the cabinets land on them.
- Scars all over my arms and wrist from cutting myself. I had a serious bad acid trip involving spiders and my mind ****ing with me which eventually lead to my phobia of spiders.
- Stabwound on my arm from a really really supressed memory.

Archery is one of my hobbies; I've been doing it since I was 5. The accident happened a few years ago at the range - someone had forgotten to engage the safety on his crossbow while reloading and it misfired. I was unlucky enough to be standing next to him and the bolt went clean through my ankle, fracturing two bones and shattering a third.

Out of pure dumbness I drove with my bike over a frozen lake , bike went out of control, I crashed hard and fell onto the ice with my elbow, I punched a 10 centimeter deep hole into the ice - results: crushed elbow joint.
Strangely It never hurt at all but the full recovery took me two years.
When I was a kid around the age of 4 or 5 I ran around in the house, stumpled over a ball on the floor or something and my chin hit a desk. Well does not sound so ugly, does it? Well I almost cut my tongue off with my teeth. I swallowed so much blood I had to puke and the rescue brought me to the hospital to stop the heavy bleeding. All my arteries on the underside of my tongue were cut and leaking lots of blood.
I have still deep scars, fortunately my tongue works flawlessy.
One day I had to ride with a truck on the load floor to secure - cant remember what it was, it was some piece of machinery- with my hands preventing the equipment to slide around and destroying itself. (dumb idea)
Suddenly the idiot truck driver driving around 50 kilometers per hour stopped almost instantly with squealing tires, but I didnt. I was thrown fowards for about 5 meters, my head hit a metal beam so hard I was knocked out instantly.
I was told all my friends laughed their asses off until they noticed I was unconscious, they brought me to the hospital.
I had luck and I had no major injuries besides a heavy concussion.
