Cannot access account, cannot access DLC

As the title says, currently I cannot log access my account created earlier today on this site.

I am currently using a backup account created to allow me to post here, though I am concerned that I will lose the ability to access it when I logout/shutdown.

I followed the process outlined for creating the account, this fellow here;

The account was made earlier today, around 17:00 gmt, and linked to my bioware forum account successfully.
I also registered my DLC and game to this account.

Subsequent attempts to log into it placed me with my EA account logged in and sitting on the second page of the signup process.

The green writing on the right informs me 'you are logged in' regarding my EA account and that 'Further information is required' (paraphrasing here, of course).
The information on the right is filled in already but attempts to finalise this fail due to the email already being in use.

I can play the game of course, no issues there, but I can't access the DLC as any attempt to do so leads to identical results.

I am at a loss of what do try next.
My main concern is that I've botched things up somehow in some gloriously hamfisted way.
Perhaps even losing access to the DLC codes in the process.

I'd appreciate any advice, recommendations or help that could be offered.
Some reassurance that I haven't flushed away my DLC entitlement would be well recieved aswell.
