Finally got Samara's quest last night. I think it ranks with Tali's for most original.

I loved chatting in Afterlife with her... not to mention, the dark lightening just made the conversation more... heated?

Plus.... who did'nt love to see Shepard seduced/almost killed by her? Image IPB

Anyone like Mornith over Samara? Is there a choice?

Yes there is a choice you can kill Samara if you have enough paragon/renegade points to charm/intimidate Morinth on the couch.

But no, I don't like her. You seem to be giving into her just like everyone else in the game, lol.

Samara is kinda cocky, I mean I picked her because I was Paragon and technically Mornith is a murderer, but Samara just gets under my skin, her code is corrupt even though she does not see it as such, and her appernce is just meh to me. Morninth is pretty much the same in looks, but does not have the saggy tentaicle clevage that is there for all to see like Samara lol.

Didn't you finish the quest? You get to choose which one to intervene with.

I don't know the fact I knew she was attempting to kill me and that she was a dangerous sexual predator kind of killed the mood for me. I was sort of like 'ok getting uncomfortable...where is Samara?'

I hated her personally. She's just a crazy/whinny serial killer.

Eh nothing technical about it.  She is a cold blooded killer who kills people for no other reason then...ok I am not sure why she decided to kill that poor girl on Omega.

Her Group Dominate ability is pretty fun, especially for all the Collectors you fight at the end.

Yeah... I liked Mornith's character... but I got ishy when we were alone in her apartment.... and she was coming closer...

I actually thought that Samara wouldn't get there in time....

also... sorta creepy that Shepard is attractive to an insane sexual predator serial killer in the first place....

Technically because she was born with a genetic condition and chose a path that was given more freedom them thousand year incareration (I would have chosen the same choice), and I blame it on the stupidity of the people falling for such a ploy in the first place, yes she prys on the week, but none the less their own stupidity for falling for it.

I help Samara the first time, but now I'm in a second run through and plan on taking Mornith with me.

They were stupid because they were somehow supposed to know she had a genetic mutation so rare that only three people in the entire galaxy have it?  Um she chose the path of being a sociopathic predator and murderer...is that the only option if you are not incarcerated?  And if you would have chosen the same choice why aren't you out there right now getting people to fall in love with you only to bring them back to your house to kill them?

Someone who purposefully kills people merely for her own pleasure/freedom? It would be like someone today going and sleeping around with people while having AIDs that they are somehow immune to but still communicable.

While I agree that one should not technically be cloistered if one had the condition, denying them the right to have sex/mind meld with people hardly seems inappropriate or unfair.

I do disagree with the Justicar code, it reeks of an "ends justify the means" philosophy that I don't agree with, but I still could never choose Morinth over Samara.

Yeah... I never got paragade or renegade options to kill or take her either...

I liked her quest, but Dominate is the main reason why I chose her. In subsequent playthroughs, I'll most likely go with Samara. She knows what she wants, though. Can't fault that.

Correction: She's a crazy, whiny Space Vampire.

Hated her concept, hated her personality. I was glad to have that part of Samara's past wrapped up so we could discuss something more interesting and less ridiculous.

she's a sociopathic murderer and rapist (I know some will disagree on the latter but in my opinion what she does is little different from using a date-rape drug). plus she's clearly not too smart, she thinks she's the pinnacle of Asari evolution, how's that whole not being able to have kids gonna work? just ask the Krogan

There stupid for falling for a slezoid on one of the most crime areas planets in the galaxy where nearly 1 out of 3 people has some form of corruption or dark secret. It's like when someone commits suicide for being bullied on the interenet hard to feel sorry for someone getting them selves killed because of their own stupidity.

I'm pretty sure you got Morinth either way, and she just pretends to be Samara afterword. I can't say I'm 100% certain but I'm willing to bet I got brainwashed in that apartment.

now that would be an interesting turn of events in ME3. If you didn't persuade your way out of Morinth's clutches you find out you actually ended up killing Samara either way.

i saved her and let samara die. i wanted to try a new partner. and as partner is more usefull, morinths control is far superior.

but now i feel bad, I betrayed samara.

I liked her as much as I liked Morrigan...which is not at all. Cool twist in that we can recruit her, but nothing about her really struck a good chord with me. Come to think of it Samara wasn't much more interesting either.

If I'm not mistaken, romancing Morinth leads to one of the ways Shepard dies in the game. I'm curious about that ending, but I don't know if its truly worth wasting the hours you put into the playthrough.
