...what it the world were you thinking when it came to the story line?  Did you just get a bunch of marketing bufoons together in a meeting room and brain storm mission ideas, write them on a whiteboard, and then select the ones that would be in the game through process of elimination and then tell your story writer to find a way to make them all fit?  There is no coherency compared to the first ME title.  I'm used to much better story arcs from Bioware.

Don't get me wrong, the game is fun, but I could get pretty much the same thing from any other action shooter on the market.  I buy Bioware for the stories and the relevant gameplay decisions that have a real affect on the outcome.  Why do the Paragon decisions seem more like Renegade actions 50% of the time?  In the first ME there seemed to be a real reason central to the plotline to persuade each team member to join your team - this seems to be nearly completely lacking in ME2.

What gives?
