I ended up pre-ordering the Digital Deluxe package from D2D--now, being a 20gig game, I know that will take some time...

However, my brother pre-ordered the CE from a site--

If he gets his copy before mine, is it possible to install the game using his copy(after he's done), as long as D2D has emailed me the authentication key and such?

Furthermore, will it require the DVD in the drive to run the game if you got the regular box copy?

Or is there too much variation between the digital version and box version?

D2D always lets you preload the game a day or two before release and then they will "unlock" it in the morning so you can install it.

Ah, I've never order digital copies before, but I was reading in the old forum people weren't sure whether or not there'd be preloading(presumedly because some games didn't have preloading).

However, if you're right(and hopefully so!), that'll be great. :)

1) If you have a box copy, you'll have to have the disk in the drive.

2) I believe the Warden's Keep is digital download only so you might miss that content, depending on if it's bundled with the regular download or not.

That is the main reason I go digital downloads is to avoid having to put the bloody DVD in the drive every time I play different games. Hoping the Steam version will be available and also allow pre-downloading.
