Last night my xbox got the 3 flashing red lights eye-of-death for the second time. I was in the middle of Mass Effect 2.
Fed up and well out of warranty, I decided to upgrade to an Elite console and transfer all my information to the new hard drive using a Memory Unit. I thought this would be fine, since I already had Mass Effect 2 saved games ready to use.
Imagine my disappointment when the system reported that Mass Effect 2 saves cannot be moved or copied to other storage devices! I expect there is no work around and I'll have to start over or use my old xbox hard drive, but if anyone has a solution please let me know.

I have the same problem except I actually finished the game. I used a memory card to copy all the saved games from a 20GB to a 60GB hard drive, my other games copied fine, including my Dragon Age saves, ME2 no luck... Any solutions? Do I have to use the official trasfer kit?
