The god, damn Husks. Especially on the derelict Reaper.

Probably didn't help that I read Star Wars: Deathtroopers a bit before...

The way Morinth's face pops up on the screen before you die from bonding with her scares the ****** out of me.

Wait what, she can actually kill you in the game?

Yes, when she's on your ship, you can choose to bond with her.  I reccomend watching that once.  Didn't help that I saw it right before going to bed, I saw that face all night.

Oddly, finding out that the Collectors were the Protheans gave me a chill. The Reaper husk was also creepy.

Kelly's death... Wow that wasn't nice to watch.

Pulpy tomato soup... I agree...

That was disturbing more than creepy. As far as creepy goes I have to agree with the OP,  I found the whole derelict Reaper ship mission to be creepy.

I have to agree here. Also note that her death is satisfying to people who still had hordes of fish dead cause she failed to feed them when said she was going too. For the fish dammit! :bandit:

PS: I still like her as a NPC so I am not going to her become Campbell's Tomato Soup.

The one N7 missions when you are in the caves with the husks. Those things are creepy.

Here's a link to the Morinth scene people. Do not watch at night. That face really *is* creepy. O.o

EDIT: LMAO! This youtube comment made my day: "Well that quite changes the meaning of 'STD'...

'Sexually Transmitted Death'"

XD

This game is creepy? I never actually saw any creepiness in this game. I have to watch the Morinth video where you bond with her. Is it like the Dead Space ending where you see a messed up face? God that made me jump so much.

Creepy: When I accidentially had Shepard make a pass a Jacob. I was afraid for a moment that she was going to be involuntarily pulled into one of those awful supposedly-romantic chats that end in awkwardly animated implied sex. [shudder]

Joker's mission. I screwed up the first time and was killed by that thing that looks like a L4D2 charger.

The whole thing was pure survival-horror.

Underpowered character - Joker's a cripple!

Horrifying monsters - Collectors and husks

Close encounters with death - EVERY DAMN TIME I TURNED A CORNER!

Pure epic. My favorite part of the whole game, even better than Conrad Verner on Illium.

Thanks for finding that link, Novus. Not much in games that actually creeps me out more than that.

When you had to get Joker to the AI core was pretty bad, watching your crew scream and try to fight the collectors and Hadley is shouting at you to go because you're their only chance. Then I carried on and saw Kelly being dragged away, and that made it hit home. I liked Kelly, she was a good friend to my FemShep and there was no way I was going to take that lying down! Image IPB

It's not really creepy/disturbing this one, but more depressing; the log you find when you're doing Tali's loyalty mission where a Quarian mother is telling her children that 'Mommy loves them' right before being killed. That got me pretty bad, I have to admit.

Any "I want to get to know you" conversation with Legion. It really puts you in perspective on how you should not screw with the real geth.

Definitely the things that got me the most were the things already mentioned, crew logs on the derelict reaper, lady getting liquified and when Joker's at the stairs and sees that slow-moving scion shadow.

Another one is on Horizon when you see them all getting paralyzed and Lilith just has the bugs moving around on her face and she can't -do- anything but move her eyes and you know she just sat there, waiting, seeing everything but not able to do anything. Gah.

Elphabas, it's more of the timing of the face. During the battle, there was so much action going on I didn't care.

@Chained: That Bartender is probably my favorite NPC out there. She's just fantastic. Strange nasally voice, but loved her.

Second place goes to the when the collectors board the SR2 Normandy. Even during the loading screens you hear people screaming. x_x

Bartender was one of the most unexpectedly pleasant finds in the whole game. She was awesome! :D

"Mom used to put on the commando leathers for special nights with dad..." (Paraphrased, can never remember the exact words.)  Asari/Krogan commando/merc (with leather!) relationship was extra funny.

Made me LOL. Many times.

Suprised we haven't seen one of these yet..

There's a few threads about what was the most humorous part of Mass Effect 2, let's try the creepiest.

The thing that sent chills down my spine was something simple, onboard the derelict reaper there's footage of two men arguing over who's married to who. They both share the exact same memories and are confused about what's going on, for some reason upon seeing this footage I was heavily bothered.

I forgot about that one. That's when ME2 started feeling a bit like a horror sci fi film ..which is good IMO.
Also the original Collector ship you board reminded me of Alien (the movies). Any cutscenes where humans were being dragged off screaming freaked me out..I am so thankful they did not include children in those cutscenes I would have had to turn away.
And when you discover your crew on the Collector station and some of them get processed b/c you were too late. What an ugly lesson for me! (since I didn't realize the time critical nature after the capture ugh).
