Creepiest moment in ME2.

And I was totally freaked out during the invasion of the Normandy...the collector ship just appears. Then the Praetorian comes out of the elevator and starts attacking people, you see another floating around the engine, that Scion dragging a screaming Kelly into the elevator on the crew deck...
And of course, when Joker is in the vents, you can see the elevator on the map thingy going up and down as the collectors ferry everyone off. I was so totally spooked by that

Any "I want to get to know you" conversation with Legion. It really puts you in perspective on how you should not screw with the real geth.
yeah I dunno. I know they're all big and bad and dangerous, but really... the entire impression I get from the conversations with Legion is that the Geth are essentially victims of the human condition (if lacking in the emotional component): they're just trying to understand their place in the universe and how they came to be there (his comments about the Morning War for example). "Does this Unit have a soul?"

It's probably just me and my overimagination.

The Derelict Reaper was probably the creepiest part of the game for me. It just gave me an immense Lovecraftian vibe. It's not the horror of what's there, but it's the horror of not knowing what's there. The whole implication of indoctrination was really creepy.

This. And I agree with Lovecraftian thing going on--the Reapers are immensely powerful and thoroughly unknowable. What sold it for me was the "the God might be sleeping, but the God dreams" line.

The reaper human, people getting killed in those tubes...
And that husk cave yeah! I was playing that at like 3 am in a dark room! xD I barely dared to hack things cause I could hear the moaning and screaming and expected to be hit in the back any moment.

Kelly's death creeped me the **** out. I thought they were just slaves but liquification in 10 seconds while trapped in a pod isn't my idea of fun. Think about it. First you're dragged off to a ship in a dark coffin, set up and left there for a while and eventually melted by acid for the most painful 10 seconds of your life. F***... that... sh*t.

Yeah... I'm gonna agree with you there. It was kinda lovecraftian... Shadow over Innesmouth vibe where you KNOW something bad is going to happen, and the horror of implied threat... right up until the endless waves of husks. Then it became more like Resident Evil or something I dunno.

"We locked down navigation. Weapons are offline. Our mistake won't endanger the Fleet. I'm locking in the door, I don't have much time. I'm sorry - so sorry... Jonah, if you hear this, be strong for daddy. Mommy loves you very much!"
Perhaps not creepy, but powerful.

During the mission to help Tali'Zorah clear her name you run across a terminal. It plays a video recording of a female Quarian researcher.

Yeah. Completely agree.
Also when Legion plays you the recording of the geth asking the quarian if he had a soul.

The dialogues with Legion I actually found incredibly illuminating and they point to a possible bright future for both the Geth and the Quarians, if we can avoid a war between the two factions.

@Chained: That Bartender is probably my favorite NPC out there. She's just fantastic. Strange nasally voice, but loved her.
Made me LOL. Many times.
Her father is probably Wrex, if you remember....he fought some commando to a draw on a space station.
