Collector ship. Especially when Joker chimes in and tells you it's the same one that killed you and the same one that was on Horizon (collectors seem to only have the one ship oddly).

And I was totally freaked out during the invasion of the Normandy...the collector ship just appears. Then the Praetorian comes out of the elevator and starts attacking people, you see another floating around the engine, that Scion dragging a screaming Kelly into the elevator on the crew deck...

And of course, when Joker is in the vents, you can see the elevator on the map thingy going up and down as the collectors ferry everyone off. I was so totally spooked by that

@Kyero: Oh yeah, Thane freaked me out the first time he did that, especially since I didn't know about the "Perfect Memory" thing until much later.

Any "I want to get to know you" conversation with Legion. It really puts you in perspective on how you should not screw with the real geth.

yeah I dunno. I know they're all big and bad and dangerous, but really... the entire impression I get from the conversations with Legion is that the Geth are essentially victims of the human condition (if lacking in the emotional component): they're just trying to understand their place in the universe and how they came to be there (his comments about the Morning War for example). "Does this Unit have a soul?"

Every time Thane has a 'memory' creeped me out. Poetic book recitation much to epileptic camera cuts? Yuck.

The Derelict Reaper was probably the creepiest part of the game for me. It just gave me an immense Lovecraftian vibe. It's not the horror of what's there, but it's the horror of not knowing what's there. The whole implication of indoctrination was really creepy.

It's probably just me and my overimagination.

This. And I agree with Lovecraftian thing going on--the Reapers are immensely powerful and thoroughly unknowable. What sold it for me was the "the God might be sleeping, but the God dreams" line.

If people think Thane's memory thing is creepy, you haven't seen Kelly do it.Scared the bejesus out of me when it happened XD

Finding out the truth about the Collectors + entering their ship for the first time.

The reaper human, people getting killed in those tubes...

And that husk cave yeah! I was playing that at like 3 am in a dark room! xD I barely dared to hack things cause I could hear the moaning and screaming and expected to be hit in the back any moment.

There's nothing creepy in the game, except the dialogue where Mordin talks about how other species were attracted to him. Now THAT is creepy.

The collector ship and reaper never bothered me. The collector ship was creepy yeah but it gave me satisfaction to know I could get some payback on them. The reaper didn't creep me out since it was abandoned and only husks remained.

Kelly's death creeped me the **** out. I thought they were just slaves but liquification in 10 seconds while trapped in a pod isn't my idea of fun. Think about it. First you're dragged off to a ship in a dark coffin, set up and left there for a while and eventually melted by acid for the most painful 10 seconds of your life. F***... that... sh*t.

Yeah... I'm gonna agree with you there. It was kinda lovecraftian... Shadow over Innesmouth vibe where you KNOW something bad is going to happen, and the horror of implied threat... right up until the endless waves of husks. Then it became more like Resident Evil or something I dunno.

I would love to have a Horror DLC, something along the lines of there Derelict Reaper ship as well as the one N7 Mission but I want a chase threw an abandon ship. The thing chasing you is a fast running husk with sharp sword, reaper hands and cries. While it's chasing you I want tons of Husk crawling up on ether side of the walk way with the bigger Husk with frost guns firing at you.

I actually quite enjoyed the Abandoned Research Station. It wasn't creepy so much as it was tense. Had a good System Shock/Dead Space vibe to it.

Conrad Verner is the creepiest aspect to all ME games, imho. That and Morinth is absolutely disgusting.

During the mission to help Tali'Zorah clear her name you run across a terminal. It plays a video recording of a female Quarian researcher.

"We locked down navigation. Weapons are offline. Our mistake won't endanger the Fleet. I'm locking in the door, I don't have much time. I'm sorry - so sorry... Jonah, if you hear this, be strong for daddy. Mommy loves you very much!"

Perhaps not creepy, but powerful.

Yeah. Completely agree.
Also when Legion plays you the recording of the geth asking the quarian if he had a soul.

Kelly first getting dragged off into an elevator and then getting melted. Man, that sucked so hard to see that. In a "horrific and emotionally powerful" way.

The dialogues with Legion I actually found incredibly illuminating and they point to a possible bright future for both the Geth and the Quarians, if we can avoid a war between the two factions.

Once I out this armor on, I couldn't take my helmet off. That creeped me out. I was like:

-"HELP HELP, I can't get this off! GUYS!"

But everyone just looked at me as if I've been gone for 2 years...

Liara just Liara. Her face is creppy, she looks kinda drugged up. Most Asari actually are kinda a creepy for me, there left eye always seems kinda more squinty then their right, been that way since Mass Effect 1. Its just weird.

@Chained: That Bartender is probably my favorite NPC out there. She's just fantastic. Strange nasally voice, but loved her.

"Mom used to put on the commando leathers for special nights with dad..." (Paraphrased, can never remember the exact words.)  Asari/Krogan commando/merc (with leather!) relationship was extra funny.

Made me LOL. Many times.

Her father is probably Wrex, if you remember....he fought some commando to a draw on a space station.
