@Chained: That Bartender is probably my favorite NPC out there. She's just fantastic. Strange nasally voice, but loved her.

"Mom used to put on the commando leathers for special nights with dad..." (Paraphrased, can never remember the exact words.)  Asari/Krogan commando/merc (with leather!) relationship was extra funny.

Made me LOL. Many times.

Her father is probably Wrex, if you remember....he fought some commando to a draw on a space station.

Yes but the bartender states that there both dead.

I didn't find much in this game too creepy, but if I had to choose, I'd say realizing the scope of the reapers. The final scene, with literally hundreds of them, including Harbringer just puts it in perspective that the final part of this trilogy will be all out hell. There is no more simplicity. the reapers are coming.

The thought of the last reaper battle with hundreds of hulking human-skeleton reapers. Excellent intimidation tactic, imo.

Yes.  Finding your own helmet is beyond creepy.

Like most others, Derelict Reaper takes the cake, though it was not unpleasant. It was a good kind of creepy. The kind where I know it was done right.

But what was even creepier was the end. Harbinger goes, "Releasing control" and the little Collector bug thing looks around like, "What the crap is going on?" and then gets hit by an explosion. I felt so bad and creeped out.

Thane's memory thing bothered me, but for different reasons than creepy.

Walking around the empty Normandy was just bizarre and unsettling. Entering a new ship that was close to but not the same as the original Normandy was weird, but getting used to it and then walking around it while it was empty just bothered me on the creepy level.

And yeah, walking around the Normandy wreck was unsettling in a variety of ways. Very sad. Very eerie.

A lot of ME2 was eerie. The piano bits in the music don't help it any. But I love it. I hope they keep it for ME3.

In the Illium bar, listening to the Quarian talk about the human that tried to convince her to go bareback, citing "amino acids" and such.

Listening to that conversation squicked me. Even watching Kelly get turned to goo was not as bad.

1. Melting girl - ... I'll never get over that one.

2. Husks - the moaning... oh man. That and realizing that you left your biotic and are going to get raped.

3. Collector's Ship - screaming during the loading screens was a nice touch... *shiver*

4. Thanes Memory - first time I was like "holy hell... wtf was that?!"

5.Liara - ...

I got kind of...sentimental with that. It was saddening.

And the Collector ship, I think, was a bit weird. I truly was somewhat surprised when I discovered the Collectors were Protheans. I immediately thought, "Those sons of ****es".

when i was a kid i loved the terminator movies but the image of a t-1000 without its skin scared the living crap out of me so seeing a giant, skinless t-1000 with a giant particle beam gun in its chest was by far the creepiest part for me.

The part where you have to play Joker was incredibly done in the freak out factor. The scene was kind of brilliant if you weren't expecting it.

This, although I figured something would happen when the whole team left on the shuttle. It was still great.

Also, the empty Collector ship. Walking through it with no encounters until the trap was sprung was a really nice touch. It built the tension well.

@ Everyone saying Husks moaning without Biotics. Try Insanity.

Creepiest was. melting people. Especially Kelly.

Weirdest was the number of freaking husks from 1 Cerberus exploration team! Seriously, were there like 200 scientists? If you talk to EDI, she says Cerberus is only about 150 total.

It wasn't a lasting creepiness, but I definitely felt a bit surprised and creeped out in the Zaeed loyalty mission when you leave the workers to die and you can hear them screaming... then eventually the screams stop.

The side missions involving the rogue mechs were great. If you haven't scanned every planet scouring for sidequests I really do recommend it, they beat the hell out of ME1's side missions.

Illusive Man's face glitching out and appearing in the ceiling after the final boss was, uh, jarring. I should try and record it.

I love mysterious creepy space crap. I wish they had more ancient derelict ships or even some kind of deep-space monstrosity like a spaceborne Thorian-type creature out there waiting to be stumbled across.

Maybe in ME3...this stuff wouldn't be as cool as independent DLC, it's not the same if you know what you're getting into rather than just coming across it while exploring. Like in Skies of Arcadia when a huge goddamn flying squid appears out of nowhere.

i actually went to the omega 4 relay early when I got this so it didnt hit me as hard that something was off, but it still threw me off. I had to go back and see if thats what had triggered it.

Finding out the truth about the Collector's creeped me out.

Joker's 'mission' was the funniest and creepiest moment in the game for me . Everyone is being attacked, killed, or hauled away by Collector's (Watching Kelly taken was extremely disturbing). While Joker, the cripple, has to save the day. I was both laughing histerically at his reactions and freaking out everytime I turned a corner, hoping I wouldn't run into a Collector.

The matriarch bartender's stories about her parents creeped me out. Though the bartender herself was made of Pure Win.

Morinth creeped me out. Period.

Wait wait wait...is that what happens if you screw up that sequence?
If you're doing that Joker bit during the Collectors boarding the Normandy and you mess up you get caught by the Collectors? OMFG. That would be creepy. I'm going to have to try that once lol ..makes me feel sick thinking that I want to put myself through that just to be horrified lol.

Watching teammates die was creepy/sad at the same time.

And the end scene with the LI on the couch with you on your lap, was creepy. In an uncanny valley way.
