Does anyone know if there is a way to turn off target assist in this game i cant seem to find an option for it and i find it extremly annoying particularly when sniping

mainly the problems with it are that while sniping i line up a shot with where a targets head will be when he comes out of cover however when he does come out of cover my aim gets moved to the side the same distance as the target moved so now im no longer aimed at the targets head but aimed uselessly at the wall beside the target. similarly when i see a target running across a bridge or walkway or even moving between obstacles along the back i will aim at where it is going and just before he reaches that spot the sniper starts sliding along to the side just far enough in front of the target that i cant get a clean head-shot. if i try and adjust the sniper it jumps to the opposite side of his head and follows him .
