Seriously, every single day there is a thread about how someone adores Tali and the zerg joins in.
I can handle it, and I am not going in those threads to complain or troll but geez louise, enough!
And note to self: I'll tell my teenaged baby sitter who is 14 yrs old that if she wants a BF IRL ..I'll just tell her to act like Tali. I'll tell her a step by step guide on behavior and attitude and appropiate subjects like AI for example to help her get a whole club of boys wanking off to her.

What a stupid comment. Not yours but Razorsedge. What a stupid thing to say. Just cause one person does not prefer a certain LI does not mean they are a major fool. That's how flame wars get started.

If you don't like Tali then don't.
Same goes with Miranda and Jack.

I found all of their LI trees to be very interesting.

Tali in my first playthorugh, probably Miranda in my second.

How is she easier than Tali or Miranda or Jack? You had to save the crew, which isn't easy on a 1st playthrough. And you have to talk to her throughout the game.

She is the best choice for real men, because Tali is a robot, and both Jack and Miranda are very domineering and also have a lot of baggages. Only Kelly is like the girl next door type.  

1. Tali isn't a robot. Codex, gameplay, and well...everything prove that wrong.
2. Kelly was flirting and hitting on within the first two dialogue choices.

I hate Miranda. You don't see me insulting or attacking people that enjoy her. If you don't like Tali, good for you, a LOT of us do, I'd even venture far enough to say the forum majority do.



If you prefer another character or characters, make an appreciation thread for them. Much more productive, and is less obvious trolling.

I've seen threads that had nothing to do with tali, and tali fans move in and start posting how great she is.

It begins to be a problem for people who prefer to romance other LIs since we cannot talk about it without some tali fan crashing the party.

Then you have people like razorsedge and novadove who insult people outright just because we're not into tali. I guess that just shows how immature they really are.

Why can't people just accept that people like some characters and some people don't?

I mean, Tali is my favorite, but I respect those who disagree with me. I don't think any less of them, and they shouldn't think any less of me. Still, I too feel that the Tali threads are getting a bit out of hand, and I am a Tali fan (not fanboy mind you), but its not enough to make me attack those that made them. (not to mention, that in the past we had a thread for general Tali discussion for a reason)

I mean, its just a game, and we shouldn't get all up in arms because a person likes a character more or less than you. I am fine with you expressing your opinions on the matter, but when it becomes an all out insult to the other party's views, its wrong.

This is getting insane on all counts.  I've said it before on here, I've liked Tali the most since the first game.  A lot more.  Loved her in the second as well. 

That being said, it seems a lot of people are taking all the romances too far, in how much they like person X over person Y and why X sucks and Y is good and why people who think Y are crazy and only people who like X are sane.  bla bla bla.

It's a game, but more then that... Mass Effect is supposed to be very personal.  Now, I have a girl friend, and I love her.  No she is nothing like Tali, and I never even think of that.  What's insane is people acting like this really happens. 

There is nothing wrong with likeing any of the romances more then the other, they are all personal to you, that's the great part. 

Not all the people who like Tali are nuts, or Miranda, Liara, Jack or Ashley.

Cool story bro. Let's be fair, every character has first class dialogue and character it's down to a matter of choice. Silly troll ! Linear views don't mean anything to remotely intelligent people. So if you like..

Beautiful and intelligent yet flawed = Miranda
Assertive, decisive but emotionally fragile = Jack
Shy and kind = Tali

If I had to say honestly, I'd say Jack was the best looking if you can see past the tatts and baldness, though I guess Bioware did that intentionally. I haven't romanced anyone so far, too scared of Liara... *hides somewhere dark*
