Can they only use bows or can I use daggers aas well?

I'm sure they can use daggers, the bow is just the starting weapon for that origin.

Yea, for example my first character is going to be a Dalish warrior. I start with a bow but I am going to put a lot of my points into strength and constitution to build up my character so I can use sword and shield or a twohanded sword
