ARMOR:
I'd like to see further enhancements to the armor customization set: more colours, more armor, more choices, why do we have to have our helmets on when wearing the dlc armor sets? and is it possible to have pieces interchange (i.e. N7 legs with a terminus torso). Can we have more armor or in the very least more pieces to the existing armor sets. Can improvements be made to make the use of helmets and visors reflect the HUD. When you wear a visor the HUD appears different to reflect that your wearing a visor, helmet, goggles, whatever. Like how a terminator viewed whatever it was looking at. If that could be done, what about thermal vision, highlighted enemies, perhaps even a modification upgrade that allows you to scope further than you normally could, with whatever weapon you've selected for added accuracy, past the stock setting.

WEAPONS:
The weapons are very cool i'm sure that everyone would agree that the new additions are a frickin' home-run. So how bout' more, like a shoulder mounted concentrated laser cannon (like having the deathstars laser fire strapped to your shoulder, for hand held devastating attacks). A hand gun with a resemblance to robocops AUTO-9 or hellboys giant 6 shooter. A heavier machine gun, the revenant was cool and welcome, but; it felt underpowered after pro-longed use. What about a futuristic chain or mini-gun? Could a weapon be made that pins enemies to walls or floors like a nail gun?

GAMEPLAY:
How is it possible that a Human male in the far future could be trained to top physical/mental peak, survive a thresher maw attack that wiped out his entire troop except for him, kills the maw, get's highest praise and recommendation, yet; he can't even run more than 30-40 feet to get some milk from the mess hall. THAT HAS TO BE FIXED FOR JESUS CHRYSLERS SAKE THE GUY LOOKS LIKE HE COULD RUN 20 MILES BEFORE HE STARTS TO GET TIRED! The melee sucks and it's barely existent. How bout some new animations? A quick close-up melee sequence? What about a knife, sword, a freakin' set of brass knuckles, something worth a damn would be a welcomed addition to the fisticuff encounter other than an elbow after elbow to the enemy, give him a knee or a kick, just something.

DLC MISSIONS:
Joker was more tangible this time around so how about a land-air mission where you do the wet work on the ground while Joker keeps the enemy ground/air forces suppressed just enough for you to penetrate into the fortress, castle, alien palace, whatever. Showing off the what the Normandy and Joker can really do would be awesome. If Mass Effect one was A NEW HOPE and Mass Effect two is THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK style then some much darker toned missions would fit the bill. Could anything be done to do a mission that gives a sliver of insight to what might be in store for MASS EFFECT 3?

let them know what kind of ideas you got peoples

A Geth armor like the one Saren used in the first game, that would be perfect for my renegade cyborg Shepard. Also some more heavy pistols and biotic armor parts.

PLOT: there's a doctor in the slums of the Citadel doing illegal stuff (taking biotic body parts and cobbling them together to make a biotic super weapon; parts from killing biotics) , which turns out to be related to the collectors. You need to team up with one of 2 rival slums gangs to get to the doctor, but first you have to retrieve the tractor beam that the other gang has so the doctor can't escape. unfortunatley, he still does (EMP blast?) and you track him to one of the Salarian planets. meet a relative of Mordin. work with said relative to get parts needed for a heavy weapon that disables biotic powers for a short period of time. once this weapon is built, you go after the doctor. final boss is the biotic monster. at the end you get to keep the biotic disabler gun.

ARMOR: gang plates: grey/ brown armor "cobbled together by the gangs of the slums." this armor is surprising durable. variation: gang boss armor: just more awesome.

salarian commando armor. nuff said.

WEAPONS: the biotic disabler, obviously. also, an "old" mounted turret that uses a mass accelerator instead of a thermal clip. very powerful, but must remain stationary to fire. maybe even a melee gun upgrade? :shades:

after you kill the rogue doctor, you a hyped up omni-tool as well.

and maybe some hammerhead upgrades?

I would like to be able to use the blue sun's armor or the eclipse's armor, or at least that helmet. Recolor it maybe though.

Yeah i like the doctor idea, maybe something even creepier like a Hannibal Lecter twist in how he selects and murders his victims.

As long as they are better than Pinnacle Station and Bring Down the Sky in size and quality. Pinnacle station was a pretty cool diversion but I felt it was lacking any interaction with those you could talk to there. As for Bring Down the Sky it was a bit fun but again once I got into the main base it was a bit of a let down with the lack of rooms you could go into.

That said however it would be nice to be able to go to your home you won on Intai’sei if you unlocked it, assuming you cant already.

Since I haven’t played Mass Effect 2 yet I cant say for sure what’s in it or what I feel could be good to add for sure but I’d be happy if they did more than the two we got for the first game. As long as they are big expansions that include new weapons and armor. Think on the terms of what was released for Fallout 3, not the so-so at best add-ons we got for the first game.

I would like to see the inside of another race’s ship or an Alliance one, one of the big ones not some small little thing like the Normandy. One that’s been adrift for years and was listed as missing. Another ship found it and all communication with them suddenly ended so a rescue ship was sent in and now that crew isn’t responding. Your sent in to find out what happened to them. This would be like a mixture of some of what the best sci-fi horror films have given us before.

I agree with what someone else said, if possible in dlc I would like to see more things done with aria. She had a lot more potential than was actually tapped.

That derelict ship idea is something I came up while I wrote that reply. It would be cool though the more I think about it.
As long as they release actual expansions and not a lot of little things like just having a new armor and weapon. It should be something like a full adventure that lasts over 4 hours that includes a bunch of new items you can get. If your companions still say anything in ME2 (havent played it yet) while you are in dialog and making paragon/renegade choices they should be able to say something not like Bring Down the Sky where they don’t say anything.

mission(s) where you take the role of Ashley or Wrex which take place at same time as ME2, see what they get up to.

ARMOR:
Helmet toggle for preorder and collector armor. After that I'd rather they not produce more sets but instead add more pieces to the N7 armour since customising and individualisingShepard is more fun than sets.

UPGRADES:
More is better. Add some more upgrades for all powers and weapons. Drop these in the new DLC or in shops. Make the news ones really really expensive.

GAMEPLAY:
New unlockable abilities a second bonus talent slot and a level-cap increase to 45? Perhaps rejig a couple of Adept powers to have more noticeable effects on shielded and armoured characters since this is their entire focus, or buff enemy HP levels on higher difficulty levels.

DLC MISSIONS:
Side missions, just make lots more of the side missions that are in the game now. Depending on how the Hammerhead fares add more ME1 style planets to explore using that too and assault courses. Keep DLC requiring large amounts of Voice acting to a minimum since that will deplete the budget and not necessarily add to the fun. Exploring what happened in the time gap either though playing it firsthand or Shepard finding out secondhand (I think latter would be easier and probably cooler).

I guess I'll split my suggestions into several different categories; keeps it organized.

ITEMS:
  • As for items, I suggest some more casual wear types (i.e. the normandy outfits.) I really like the current ones, except for the "space biker" one, that one is just meant for pure hilarity. It would be cool to have the Illusive Man's suit, that's a really cool suit. Even though the Illusive Man isn't really all that good of a person, neither is Cerberus for that matter.
  • The actual armor in the game was quite limited, so more armor types is essential. More statistic based armor, preferably. It would be cool to have some sort of biotic armor with sensors that increase your biotic potential, maximizing your abilities with biotics.
  • New weapons, of course. I would like a larger variety in the heavy pistol and submachine gun category, which only housed two weapons. Maybe a rapid fire submachine gun with geth technology, like a pulse submachine gun or something of that sort.
GAMEPLAY:
  • Now, what I'm about to say will have to be well balanced and polished to perfection. An increase in level cap would be great, but it needs balancing and polish before release, as well as enough content to allow you to reach the cap, instead of playing new game+ several times just to reach the max level.
  • Possibly bring back specialization classes, which I think would go great when bundled a level cap increase. Add another mission that would allow you to specialize in something.
  • New powers, but balancing of course is needed.
EXTRA MISSIONS:
  • Bioware should release "planet packs" periodically, which would contain a multitude of small visitabel planets, which would add up to lengthy questing.
  • They should also add longer, more plot related missions, such as a mission the size of Point Lookout, which was anywhere from 3-10 hours.

Well, that about wraps up my ideas for now.

some way to kit out your squad so they have a cohesive appearance rather than the complete cluster **** that is present atm, would it be so bad to have a cyclic appearance where-by the squad member dons a clone of the player characters currently equipped armour all the armour models are already there, the only ones who would require more effort would be turian quarian krogan salarian which would only be re-textures, all the rest use the standard humanoid design, to me it seems like something that would satisfy alot of people and isn't prohibitively complex.

Gaemplay:
  • An in-game stock market set up to sell off some of your excess minerals since it's quite easy to get several times more minerals than you have credits.
  • Fiddle with the assault rifles to make them a bit more accurate.
  • Make the shotguns more useful ala that shotgun mod that was posted.
  • Allow us to set squad points for team members from the private terminal instead of just before a mission starts.
  • Speed up planet scanning for the 360 prior to the scanner upgrade.
Upgrades:
  • More ship stuff that can actually payoff in the endgame, like a multi-warhead missile that the Narada used in Star Trek, or a better point defense system (which can be shown off in an N7 mission cutscene or something).
  • Definitely more stuff for the guns, especially heavy weapons. Just getting ammo increases seemed kinda cheap.
Armor:
  • More pieces, possibly more patterns.
  • The ability to color the preorder bonus armor.
Missions:
  • Maybe an expansion with Shepard and company retaking a hijacked frigate from some mercs, starting with combat on the outer hull, then moving into the ship, with interaction with the ship's crew.
  • Interesting side missions with some tough choices.
  • Maybe have some missions that showcase the upgrades to the Normandy prior to going through the Omega 4 relay. It really bugs me that I don't know if the minerals I invested were put to good use until I pass the point of no return.
  • Something involving hanar, like a bunch of hanar are being held hostage because they're preventing some company from nabbing a Prothean artifact or something.

I think a gang war quest would be cool, where you would have to choose sides between eclipse, blue suns, and the red gang (forgot the name)

add louge/bar to normandy where random encounters/discussions occur between squadmates and yourself; liara mission to bring down shadow broker with an actual LI reunion at the end; more topics to discuss with characters.

I would be happy with a dlc that was specifically just armor and weapon addons.. Add some dozen of each weapon type (pistol, smg, assault rifle, and shotgun).. Throw them through out the game, while making a progressive linear advancement at first.. But then branch off to 3 to 4 choices even at the final tier.. Say for instance, do you want a powerful shotgun that destroys up close? Or a weaker shot gun with a tight spread that can be used in both close and longer range combat.... Or a sniper that shoots mass reactive rounds causing a explosion on impact doing splash damage..

Armor same thing.. Maybe rework engineer and adept skills, stuff like pull and throw seem really only viable in anything below veteran..
