 Before I pose my question, the search feature isn't working great for me.  Google search didn't turn up much either, hoping the community might be more knowledgeable.  Just wanted to put that out there in case this is a common question.  I tried to do my research first.


So my question is this: If you refuse to help the towns people of Redcliffe Village with the zombie infestation how do you get into the Castle?  I heard rumors of a secret passage on another forum but I am having problems finding
anything.

I always play the nice guy, so in my first playthrough of DA I'm trying to be a real bag o'doosh!

EDIT: I came back to post in case anyone else has the same question and is seeking an answer.  Just as was suggested to me, if you fully leave the town (I traveled to Lothering) a cut-scene will appear.  After this you can return directly to Redcliffe and inspect the fate of it's inhabitants.

If you refuse to help and leave them to their fate, things might not be the same when you return. But you will be able to get into the castle... somehow. Trust me.
