Actually a quite basic netiquette rule would clearly state that once a thread is locked, it shouldn't be reopened. Doing so it's an hell of a nice example of lack of respect for the moderators' authority.

And maybe if some morons stopped trolling in them they wouldn't keep getting locked?

This is a discussion forum. This means that while some people will possibly agree with your idea, others will disagree. It's by no means "trolling" and it doesn't make people automatically "morons".

Continuously insulting the ones that disagree with you won't net your cause any more sympathy, nor give your claims any more solid ground to stand on. Quite the contrary, it will only identify you as the troll.

If you want to express your opinion with no risk of it being discussed or blogged, open a blog, and deactivate comments.

Exacly, we are not bothered by the fact that you guys want Shepard to go gay. We are extreamly bothered by the fact you obviously can't learn that those threads get locked. EVERY SINGLE ONE but still you can't get the idea and notice that you atract trolls and haters, you can't comprehend that this thread ALSO will get locked because it IS spam. Seriously, anyone should be able to get the clue, even the gang from Scooby Doo would solve a mystery like this... but no, each time a gaylove thread gets locked another suprised moron pops up with "Oh my, the previous thread got locked so I'm starting a new one!".

Learn and adapt - go create a open Social Network group supporting gay love and post your concerns there. Or even better - use the search option because I'm 100% positive there already is at least one group like that.

Nice opinion. Many would disagree. I'm one.

The main character was not voiced because there were SIX possible main characters (male and female human, dwarf and elf). Voicing the whole lead script for six main characters would have been an hell of an expense.

I don't see anything particularily wrong with a topic made to discuss this issue.
If you feel it's gone on for too long, ignore it. That's what I do with topics that don't interest me.

Well it's more due to the fact that traditionally RPG main characters aren't voiced.
Mass Effect is the exception to the rule due to the developer's desire to be more cinematic.

Like review scores have ever had anything to do with the actual quality of a game.
