My point is i dont want the video and audio file being on my harddrive dug deep inside the ME2 folders.... Some people (like you) want to see everything that is wrong, instead of being happy that you could hump a tiny french elf in their previous release

He isn't fighting for any opinion, or moral ground, he is fighting for his own personal hate and fear.  Look at how he phrases.  You want to see everything that is 'wrong'.  So a male being attracted to another male is wrong in his eyes.  And everything that is right and happy is what he believes. 

So just stop responding and I know it is really hard. It truely will be, but honestly it just proves how useless an arguement it is. And if he keeps posting.... Well that just proves his intellectual level

Why wouldn't people attracted to the same sex be interested in FPS and Sci-fi? I want you to really, really think about that.  And then I want to hear your answer.

They are.. Though the majority of people, including gamers are not gay. And that is just how it is. And people who arent gay couldn't care less about it.

Lets be honest, I have never seen the minority argue for gay exclusivity (except in an attempt to prove a supposed point), and if your honest with yourself you know thats not what you want.

On the other hand, there are people who dont want to encounter that option. For people who disagree with that behavior (not the people who do it) its nice to be able to talk to your male squad members without worrying about running into it.

I would support this if it was an option in parental settings (or something equivilent) that was off by default, but could be enabled for those who want it.

This is not to degrade those with this lifestyle choice, but to allow those who do not wish to have lifestyle choices they disagree with forced upon them.

Before you make the inevitable hetero comparison, heterosexuality is not a lifestyle choice and is not force upon you by any people, rather it is forced upon you by nature due to its necessity for the survival of the species. For this reason, removing hetero as an option is not particularly viable in any sort of common lore.

You know, there are people who don't like the idea of women fighting.  Does this mean Bioware should exclude females from combat situations every other game?  No.  And hey, if it's what it takes to convince others that both included = both winning, I'll argue for gay exclusivity.  But I shouldn't have to.  :/  What you have is a false dichotomy.  It's like the argument that neither US political party can *ever* be right on their own--that one's platform *has* to hurt the other.  Which is not true.  

But I'm with you on the parental settings bit.  I  would be happy if this was included on the setup options screen, even.  :happy:

yes but the idea of female soldiers isn't as controversial after all the equal rights and stuff.. Some People (AND I MEAN EXTREME RACISTS) would propably also find it annoying that jacob is in the game.

Actually there are many people who aren't gay who have empathy for people who are treated poorly. Just because you don't want to see Shepard make love to Thane everyone else must not want to either? You're viewpoint is just sad and is poorly thought out. Just because a majority doesn't want something, doesn't mean the minority have to be ignored and persecuted. That way of thinking only hurts you aas well because you might be in the minority someday

Bye for good now.... My point is this, LBioware didn't want it in the game because it is popular and they dont want another big deal to take care off after the **** that happened in the first game.. DA:O isnt a pop game and therefore noone god pissed when you could have "romance" with Zevron

Problem is that you are comparing people and I am comparing demographics. 

You as a gay person (which I have all the respect in the world for) are just as likely to be into Sci Fi, gaming and FPS as me as a straight person.

But the gay demographic has not shown itself to be as into these things as the straight demographic.  In the same way the straight demographic has not shown itself to be into fashion as much as the gay demographic, whilst I am heavily into it and you may not be.

Its about percentages.  If you do a poll of gay people and ask them how many play sci fi space shooters, then do a poll of straight people with the same question, of course you would find more people, but also probably a bigger percentage of the straight people.

Why?  Probably down to culture.  But individually, a gay person is no more or less likely to enjoy things a straight person does and vice versa.
