Was anyone else frustrated when they went to modify their base Shepard for the second game and realized you couldn't use the base face as a template?  I thought after two years of dead he might get a shave and a real haircut!

Kaiden does have his moments of sexyness. Just... not when he's being entirely useless in combat. Those are his less sexy moments.



If BioWare went with a new DLC character though (Kasumi the mystery DLC, for example, could be a last name? Could come in M and F variety? Could be the masculine-yet-androgynous counterpart to the Asari?) what would everyone like to see in an entirely new potential romance partner? Is there a team-mate niche that could be filled? An archetype that hasn't been done yet?

No spoilers of course. Just brainstorming.

It has nothing to do with politics, gay rights, marketing, religion, or the game's target audience. Male Shepard will forever be a lady's man.



If you really want your Hero character to have a homosexual interlude, go play Dragon Age, also from Bioware, and just as good a game (more or less depending who you ask), and which features a rather cheeky elven assassin. If anything else, go write some fan fiction or hire someone to build a mod.

Well my first character was default male Shepard and a Soldier.  In my mind, that's who my male Shep is, and always will be.  Just wish he had hair.  I'm still trying to find out who my Femshep is, and who she's attracted to.

Just like all the Mako-hate threads made no difference, the requests for other romancable characters made no differences, the begging for more variation in side missions made no difference, the umpteen threads complaining about the elevators made no difference.

The only thing m.Shep will always be is a variable. He can be a ladies man, a mans man, a loner, a paragon, a renegade, and by george he can even be a she.

Anyway, Man did I ever want to use def.Shep as a base. The custom options are just.. odd looking. def.Shep has the best nose in the entire game.
Is that a very weird thing to say?

Yeah, it was rather disappointing how facial customization is so limited (even from the start). The buzz cut, I don't mind so much, but every time I look at the default male Shepard's face during cut scenes and dialogue sessions, I always expect to hear a Russian accent for some reason. o_O

therefore, if in my story i figure my shepard prefers the company of men, then he will be gay...



which is the issue here... shepard is supposed to be a blank slate whose personality and decisions are cultivated by the player... imagine how devastated you might be if you were unable to romance your prefered gender in a game that is meant to be "your story..."

Who ever said everything should be free?  But w/e we're going off topic.  So back to m/m.  When I played ME2 I thought, Jacob would be perfect for a ManShep, but alas I can't do that, even if I wanted to.

Ew Mordin.  Just look at his pruney lips.  Don't lower your expectations for MORDIN.  I'd rather have a ManShep with TIM then Mordin.  Thane's eyes freak me out.  Frankly,  I'd love for Tali to be romancable by my FemShep, but oh well a girl can dream.  But yeah, I'd take the backside on Jacob to Miranda...sometimes her bum looks like if were...attacked..too vigorously it
would deflate and she'd float off into space.
