Still *sighs* I don't think its going to happen. BioWare is becoming more and more conservative in their games. (Sure they have amphed the language and violence but everything else seems to have downgraded). Oh well it was a nice run while it lasted.
I'm really feeling pessimistic today.
And *sigh* I think I'm going to give up soon. BioWare isn't paying any attention and frankly the way they're going so far makes them a great amount of money so its the smart business move. And smart business moves are what a corporation like EA is all about. And BioWare needs to keep EA happy and the money incoming. Oh well as long as they keep writing good storylines that'll be fine. Even if they keep going overboard with the DLC.
Edit: Endurance isn't that bad...

The fans on those boards are SKURREH FAN GIRLS. I stay away. I forget the sexy Vampire who dies in the sun...but they were so lovers.

Bah you should just leave that alone. Never, ever try to reason with fangirls about who X character should end up with. It never ends well.
And to bring this back to Mass Effect.
Yeah I doubt they're going to give us MM guys. I'm sorry.
Bah. I feel like I'm on a seesaw, optimistic, pessimistic, optimistic, pessimistic, again and again and again and again.

Game development is not a collaborative effort between developers and gamers; it is a dictatorship, where we alone determine what content goes into our game.
It's a tad out of context, sure, but it is something both camps here need to take into consideration (the non-gay camp for being rather childish and demanding it not be included, and the pro-gay camp for passive-agressively demanding that it should be included).
Once again, I'm not trying to stir up any trouble (I couldn't care less if BioWare includes a gay option or not), I just read the comment and figured everyone here might be interested in it.

Aw, there there. *tali interrupt*
They could turn around and add a gay romance in a DLC or the 3rd game. They did add that Garrus romance...and he seems more a friend to me.

Not trying to cause trouble or anything, but I was reading an article about the "sex scenes" in Mass Effect 2 (or lack thereof), and there were some statements made by Stanley Woo. Here is an excerpt from one of his comments that I think fits well with this "situation".

True they do decide what goes into their games. But if no one likes it they're screwed no? So there's a limit to how much they can choose *not* to listen to their customer base. Sure this is easily ignored with little trouble but something like people disliking the battle system or finding a mini game extremely boring and repetive or just plain not liking certain plot points and decisions or things they at least need to take into account.
So its not a complete dictatorship. Dictators don't rely on all their subjects being happy to stay in power after all.

*sniffles* But they wont because they fear the puritians!
Also DLC could ruin their perfect manly "Sheploo" image. <_< Ra forbid a gay man save the galaxy and be awesome and anything other than a limp wristed fashion designer. Sheploo has to be a stud screwing human and alien chicks around the galaxy.
Bah. I guess I'm letting that Shep can only be straight thread get to me. BioWare's silence isn't helping matters. Sure they aren't obligated to put the same sex romances in but they could at least issue a statement saying there's not going to be any in the series instead of giving us that BS "no time" excuse.
FemShep isn't even seen anywhere but of course you get the classic lesbian romances for their heterosexual man that are too manly to persue a male LI even with a female avatar.
Ugh. <_<
Edit: Spelling fail. *sighs* That's what happens when I get frustrated.

I think he was just saying that to the OMG NO SEX NUDITY PEOPLE...if not I could've swore they added Garrus and Tali FOR the fans, because people wanted it, but I suppose I could be wrong.
