Well I wouldn't call them women...female is more PC, but he's trying to disprove the need for gay romance because there isn't a lesbian romance.  In which there is...but okay yeah i suppose arguing with a stubborn person gets me nowhere....

I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy. If a female human having sex with an Asari isn't lesbian, then sex with an alien race that is only "male" (which is really every other alien race save quarian) shouldn't be considered gay. Therefor, Drell, Turians, Krogan, Batarians, and Salarians shouldn't be off-limits to a male Shepard.

It's fundamentally about defining your character, including those kinds of concepts. In Mass Effect it's more a third person narrative, where you have a pre-defined character who is who he is, or she is. But it's not a wide-open choice matrix. It's more choice on a tactical level with a pre-defined character. So they're different types of narratives, and that's intentional



Why can't male shepard be gay? Because he's a pre-defined character...oh ok then let's throw the dialogue trees out the window, the exploration, the ability to choose what girl you want to romance, and what armor Shepard gets to wear because OBVIOUSLY mr Muzyka has made that choice for us. Why doesn't he just come over my house and play the game for me, if he's so adamant about pre-defined choices. In other words, this is the story, and THIS is how you're SUPPOSE to be playing it. Ridiculous

Here's some food for thought: should it even be considered gay if it's between two "male" beings of different races? how would you even define which gender was "male" or "female". What if there was a species with THREE genders? What if two genders are biologically different, but both can give birth to children?

For my part I want to play a Geth modified Shepard that has no sex and sees the world in all the light spectrum human eyes can't.
Transhumanist community wants to be represented as well.

This is a strawman argument because there exists the ability to romance characters for both sexes in the game, and not to change the physiology of shepard entirely. I'm talking about making choices based on gameplay options that ALREADY exist, not some trumped up troll statement about making Shepard a "geth transhumanist flashlight that walks on Mars and eats sand."

That just isn't true. Im not sure which tests your findings are based of off or which regions these studies were performed in but what you are saying just is not true. Kindly provide a link to what you're basing this assumption on. I am not aware of any statistical overlap large enough to lead me to believe men and women are inherently the same, unless the test with the most overlap was done in a highly liberal area of the US or was funded by CNN. In which case I feel obliged to ignore it as I would a FOX "news" report.

I'm more then willing to accept that. We have had some F/F (not getting into any Asari arguments) why not have more options for FemShep and at least some option for MaleShep... its only fair

I loved hearing all the ads ... did anyone hear the one of the Hanar Spectre movie? Too funny! But this one will stay on topic  If I could have my MaleShep with Kaiden I'd be happy
