There's nothing wrong with your opinion, as not everyone wants to see the options and flirty dialog while they play the game. This is why setting your sexuality at the beginning of the game was proposed, so that you wouldn't even see the option if you didn't want it. In my opinion, it's the least intrusive solution.

What if we shared your views but in reverse, it'd be a very nasty world wouldn't it? Andif homosexual elements are entertaining to us, why would connecting them to our games be sily?
Thak you for at least supporting us being able to ask though
edit: blatant spelling errors >_<

For 95% of players it wont make any difference to their game, except to choose one dialogue option saying "No thanks".

Cool random opinion and no statistics bro
Why would you need statistics? It happens. That's fact.
Now, whether that has any bearing on Shepard or not, I can't say I really care much, but "show me the statistics" is a pretty worthless argument. People (including characters in the Mass Effect series) are obviously not created and fleshed out based on statistical probabilities.
Yes because turning gay after you divorce happens "ALL THE TIME"
meaning a lot. Which no, it does not happen ALL THE TIME

Except FemShep, who can be a lesbian by focusing on Liara or bisexual by flirting with both Liara and Kaiden.

Hence why I was asking you 'Are you sure you know what bisexual means?'
Because apparently you have no idea that bisexuals actually *exist*

That idea sounds great to me, though I wonder how many people might find it a bit strange to see a pop up option at the start of the game asking to verify a sexual orientation of the very character that you will be controlling for the entirety of the game. I can't speak for others obviously. But I want to make it clear that the last thing I want to hear is some bunch of press desperately seeking for attention to make a big deal out of it.

Actually the way it was proposed (still think it's weird that he and I said the exact same thing lol) is as a setting on the options screen. So where one gets to set the difficulty, subtitles, team-power-usage, etc. there would also be a setting to turn same-sex romance dialogue on or off (and even the on setting wouldn't turn off opposite sex dialogue) and the default setting would be Off.
Sadly it seems that some people on both sides of the debate are dead set against any notion of compromise.

You just say the same crap over and over again. Do you know what listening means? Or are you too ignorant to comprehend what BISEXUAL is, whether it's in the game or not.
