It makes no difference to me ,I say let people chose Shepard's sexual orientation.Include the option in the next game ?

You can't use the argument "Bioware doesn't approve of homosexual relationships " because in DA you could have them..so if its anything it's the game designers of ME2 who may be against it ..not Bioware .I assume there are different teams who did DA and ME1&2 and they can use there discretion on certain dynamics of the game .

Everyone is ignoring the fact that scenes, voices and all were MADE for Kaidan/Shepard romance. All Bioware would have to do is release them.

Ah... as in gameplay option screen.  That's a more discreet way of implementing the feature.  Or it could become something like what Infinity Ward did with Modern Warfare 2 in asking the player to opt out of content in that nature.

I suppose that could work, as long as the player is fully aware of what is being asked at that point.  But then again, I fear that such implementation will draw horde of pointless press coverage and hate posts all over the internet making a huge fuss out of it.

This game is rated M for mature audiences.  If people of mature age cannot grasp the difference between enjoyable elements of a video game and real life social values, I am truly sad for those people.

So nobody has countered my "Gay but I'll screw Asari" comment yet, that's good to hear.

Also Garrus is a perfect example of If It's You, It's Okay

He's even mentioned in the Video Game section. His attraction to female Turians is irrelevant completely. He could go either way, why they chose not to is beyond me. More hypocrisy I guess. ^^ Thanks BioWare.

Edit: I'd be okay with having to toggle same-sex content, wouldn't bother me at all, but I think that would do more harm to heterosexual's reputations than just hiding it in the game. They should just bunch ALL romance dialogue into a special [Romance] category like they do with [Information]. That way if a male character is romancable you could completely ignore that section of the wheel. I dunno.

Actually the more I hear about the sexuality setting makes me want it. All it does is make the FPS crowd look insecure in the long run. Go for it!

Anyway the point I was making about Vanderloo and Meer is that it's hilarious that people seem to see Shep as the Ultimate-Hardass tough-as-nails Ubermacho definition of masculinity.
and it's just hilarious that the two actual human beings who were combined to make him... are not.

I have to agree with endurance on this totally off-topic debate. gay-for-pay does exist and the guys are straight.
