I take Viper over Mantis all the time. Incisor is good on squadmates.
Man, the Incisor Sniper Rifle is so badass.

I like my viper the most, thanks.
As an infiltrator, that slo mo is great. Combine that with reave for all barriers and armor and you basically are god. The ammo count is good, it fires at a decent rate, and with all upgrades on it it basically becomes a scion murderer. Widowmaker is nice and all, but I would rather have my assualt rifle for my midrange fun. Nothing says I love you like flanking an enemy while invisible and firing a three shot burst at their head (vindicator). Also, while widowmaker and incisor are both nice, on end boss it is almost impossible to hit the bastard anyway with a sniper. An assualt rifle helps a lot on all situations.

I got mine through third-party sources. Can't connect to Cerberus anymore, though, so it kinda makes me wonder why I bothered to get every single other piece of gear legitimately.

What do you mean third party sources? If you mean you acquired it without paying for it then you deserved to get banned from the Cerberus Network.
