I have a fairly standard standard definition television and it's often stupendously hard to read text even when I'm sat fairly close. Subtitles are too small (which I need), I never know an NPC's name until I start a conversation with them etc. What doesn't help, especially with the conversation wheel, is that it often doesn't stand out from the background. White text on a white background? How am I supposed to know what option I'm selecting?!
I've tried fiddling with settings both in-game and on my television with next to no improvement. Can anyone else suggest anything? I don't really have the money to go buy a new television, but does a HD set actually help with the white text problem at all? Many thanks to anyone who can help here!
