This is my favorite pic so far. A bit "space elf"-ish, but still exotic. I love the glowing eyes.

So... how does Shepard do it with Tali? I mean he strips the suit off but... she's got 3 fingers and 3 toes... weird looking legs... the anatomy can't be the same...
Honestly this bugged me the whole romance.
I still did find this as out-there as the Garrus option.

Since she is Tali'Zorah vas Normandy these days I don't think it will be a problem.Garlador wrote...
WRONG. With Mass Effect 2 out now and making faces smile, we turn our eyes towards Mass Effect 3 where Tali might be overlooked or her role diminished. We as Tali fans simply cannot let that happen.
I'm still waiting for that face reveal, though.

Which is exactly why I don't think they should show her face.

Edit: Ahh here we go a quote from the wiki.
"Quarians have an endoskeleton, lips, teeth, and two eyes with eyelids and tear-ducts. (Ascension
p. 235) Females have mammary glands. Quarians may have evolved along
similar lines as Earth's higher primates, much as Australia's koalas
developed like Africa's leaf-eating prosimians: a phenomenon called
convergent evolution."

Now I’m not ruling off tali having hair from the wiki it seem they do share some same traits as humans so that could mean she could very well have hair under that helmet.

But even Asari have eyelashes, so it's highly possible.

Quarians share many traits with other mammals. Having hair is certainly not out of the question. It's neither confirmed or denied.

I thought those were drawn in? I mean really out side of Liara i never seen one with eyebrows.
And I do hope Tali and all Quarian have hair just for the fact im tired of seeing only Facial parts ((nose lips etc)) being the thing other aliens share.
Another race that has hair be nice, sadly thou the hair could be a moot point even if it is there from wearing a suit at all times would probably kill hair growth.

Then we would have some idea what they look like without accttually having to ever show her face.
To be honest i could care less if we see her face either way as long as the romance sub plot from Me2 reaches some kind of conclusion in Me3.
But it would defintitly be interesting.... lol

Anyone else glad they didn't show her face?
Absolutely, I hope they never show it, nothing can compete with our imaginations!

Never underestimate the power of mystique, mystery, and imagination. Gotta love a character that encourages a little effort on the player's part.

Quarians don't have true ears, I think. "Quarian equivalent of an ear" is mentioned in Ascension (on that one famous page).
Well, apparently not famous enough that I ever heard of it before. And since these boards don't have a search function and I really don't want to look at a gazillion pages before I run into a thread going into detail, could you please summarise?
And, yeah, Tali is definitely the best LI and the best companion character of Mass Effect. She needs to be a mayor character in ME3, and I do not really care that she could have died for some people.
I'm even starting a new playthrough of ME1 now, so that I can NOT romance one of the options there, since I don't want "my" Shepard to have to deal having been an adulterer.

Meh I don't think we have to worry
over her being ugly or not I mean if you really stop and think of it
are any of the mass effect races really even that ugly? I mean mabye
the Vorcha but I think there kinda cool looking.
I just fear that she will have a giant jawbone like Miranda or a square face like Liara.

I'm sure whatever Bioware does (if they do anything in this regard) will be good.

I've seen a picture of a plausible Tali thou it not PG as it show her fully sutiless thou she does have a slight elongated mouth she does have no ears and hair the more I learn over quarian the more I find there actually More and more realted to Humans then most other races, So they may be a forum of mammal.
I use the term mammal loosely case well what are define as mammal can easily not be the case else were.

It's an oft-quoted paragraph in the novel Ascension, in which a human character comes across a naked, tortured Quarian, and is analyzing the damage done to him. We learn from it that they have lips, noses, cheeks, teeth, etc., and one of the things that it says is "A cut ran up from one lip to the quarian equivalent of an ear" (paraphrased).
I don't have the book on me, so you'd have to ask someone else (most Tali-thread regulars have it saved somewhere).

On a side note, it might be nice if they brought back all of the romance options from ME1/2 for ME3 and set up a "and they lived happily ever after" thing. That way everyone could be happy

Like I said I always liked her, and like how the romance in ME2 felt like natural progression. I have to give credit to Bioware I loved what they did with her character and I'm a bit embarrased and proud to say that they did such a good job with her that she actually incited emotions within me beyond mere chills or a feeling of lets go kick some ass. ... Despite being the most alien female romance option, the way she acted and was presented she felt the most ... human.
