This cockney geezer was the backbone tank in my squad in the early stages of the story. Pretty mean with an assault rifle, and those inferno grenades are excellent. And he has some superb one-liners and hilarious war stories. I also think his integration into the game was very well handled. Sure, you don't get the dialogue wheel with him on the Normandy, but you can take him anywhere in the game and he'll have something to say,and he's included in the cutscenes in missions. His loyalty mission is also rather spectacular, running around that exploding base. Well worth the download.
Am I the only one that liked Zaeed?

Lack of character depth did not help Zaeed's case, but I used him a lot with Grunt for sheer AR firepower. He's pretty ruthless, adds a bit of spice to the crew selection.

I didn't hate him, but I didn't use him. he was the only character I felt even after his mission wasn't fully on my side and he was also probably the only person I wouldn't have cared about loosing during the mission. Sadly he survived and Thane did not which made me dislike him a bit more.
Anyway I'd be interested to see him pop back up in ME3, but it would certainly feel like a waste to me if he got one of the squad slots.
