You don't need to delete or rename any bik files
Just run your game
Ctrl-Alt-Del and open the Task Manager
Find the Mass Effect 2 process
Right click and Set Affinity...
Uncheck any CPU core except the first one

Press OK Confirm the change

Then you can Set Affinity and enable every core again


before this workaround, some loading clip often played more then 3 loops
after the above setting, none of them played more then once, even the companion screen showed up instantly

PS: you have to do this every time you play the game
