I got the CE version of ME2 and the first thing I did was redeeming CE content and downloading DLC stuff from the website. After everything was installed I ran the game for the first time, entered the BioWare account data in the 'cerberus computer' on the main screen and it just worked. And still does. The thing is I never used the code on my cerberus card. Do I actually need it? As far as I know since the second computer works, informing me about current DLC (zaed + Normandy crash site + 2 'news'), that means I am using the cerberus network and will be informed about new DLC... or not?
No need to register for Cereberus Network?

They're not really giving details on how they fixed the issue that some people with the Collector's Edition were having with Cerberus Network, but from all appearances they did it by linking both the Collector's Armor and Cerberus together for the collector's edition. Redeeming either code appears to be giving both.
