But if he is, that drops my opinion of Maric quite a bit. I just can't see him sleeping around twice.
No worries. He didn't sleep around twice. Dozens of times more like.

So is the fact that Anders looks and sounds like them significant, or is it just a devious plan by the devs to drive us all crazy wondering about it until March 16, when we will still receive no definite proof one way or the other so that they can laugh at us as we ponder and scratch our heads and tear our hair out wanting to know?!

I wonder how much some of this wordplay in DA is intentional. People keep noting that the name "Alistair" is a version of Alexander, which means "defender of man." Alex-ander. Anders.
Anders - Scandinavian form of Andrew. Greek 'manly'.

It occurs to me that if another of the bloodline shows up, one who is able to reproduce, Alistair won't need to provide an heir anymore. Well, it couldn't be a mage, probably, but someone else....

The voice actor for Anders is Greg Ellis. He voiced Disciple in KOTOR2, E in Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines, and a bunch of other stuff. He's also voiced a lot of characters in DA:O and its add-ons--Cullen, Patter Gritch, and the Ash Warrior Leader in vanilla DA:O, Felix de Grosbois and Matthias in the Stone Prisoner, and assorted other minor voices.
BioWare must really like him, because they sure have given him a lot of work! Fortunately, he's very good!

It would probably be a good idea to avoid tainting any male Ferelden between the ages of 15 and 35, especially if he has blond hair and a propensity for being a smart ass.

Morrigan doesn't seem that old...
She also looks nothing like Maric. And considering how dominant that man's genes seem to be in his children, I have a hard time believing something like Morrigan could emerge...
OR, I'm just clinging to the hope that not every character in DA is somehow Maric's illegitimate child.

I rather do hope that Maric was a man-**** and has tons of royal bastards running amok out there. Whatever his faults, the man does breed some seriously smashing looking sons. Fereldon could use such an injection of attractive genes. Especially the Dalish, though unfortunately, they would only get human kids.
Maybe it's for the best.

Might he be from Tevinter? Or was that just the roles?

His voice is very distinctive; I recognized it. So you can't count this information as official, as I did not get it from any official source, although I'm quite sure it's him.
