Wrex was my FAVORITE ME character and I was sad when he wasnt a squadmate in to.

Since he dies in the 'canon' story. chances are he is NOT in ME3 as a squadmate?? 

Grunt seems pretty cool but I prefer Wrex still

Wrex was my second favorite character in the first game, Garrus beats him out for the top spot, though. Grunt, on the other hand, I didn't find him appealing or interesting. He's cool and all, but he was probably the least interesting character for me. I still like him, though. Wrex in ME2 was awesome, his appearance was small, but rewarding. Oh, and if he returns as a squadmate in ME3, he will be on my squad, no matter what.

Grunt is just there in case Wrex died, I'd say. "Aw, you broke your Wrex? Here's a new one. Don't cry, little baby." As a character, Grunt is....amazingly boring. The doctor that created him would have been and was a million times more interesting as a character.

id actually rather he return as krogan overlord or something. he would have an actual important story role leading the united krogan against the reapers instead of just another squadmate. wrex has the only real excuse to not be back, but luckily its in the interest of an improved role. he had the most sastifying cameo of all, because it made sense, whereas liara went murder-happy and kaiden/ash became douchebags.

When I went to Tuchanka I said "Holy crap it's Wrex!!!" Hope he comes back for ME3, he really seemed to like my Shep.

If it really comes down to a choice... it'd be Wrex. But damnit, I liked Grunt too, something about that gentlemanly way he says he's going to kill you makes me go 'DAMN that's badass!'

Love Wrex's character but I feel like it would fit the story better if he stays on as the leader of the Krogan front united against the Reaper threat.



I think following me2 Grunt will return to Tuchanka, to his clan. Shepard will be sent to Tuchanka to get the krogan to fight with him and afterwards, Wrex will send his advisor who replaced Uvenk with shepard. That advisor would be Grunt if he survived the suicide mission.

I would go behind Wrex's back, have him overthrown in a Krogran coup just so I could swoop in and save him for an excuse to have him onboard the Normandy... after all we already sorta did something similiar with our Quarian squad mate...

Thats ok... EVERYONE dies in ME1-ME2 if you screw up enough. Ashley and Kaiden? One of them HAS to die, Wrex... like you said killable, Tali and Garrus? Suicide mission volunteers... in fact Liara is the only one that can't die really... so keep your fingers crossed and keep bugging Bioware and I'm sure Wrex will be a squad mate in ME3... and if he's not I'm going to throw a fit.

I'm not sure if he should return as a crew member... it doesn't make much sense actually.



Wrex should be there to help us against the Reapers but not as a crewmate.

Eh...I love Wrex (in a bromantic sort of way), but he's doing important work on Tuchanka. Grunt's pretty cool, so I don't mind having him along instead.

Wrex is too cool to just be another squadmate now. He is chief, he has his own squads now. Wouldn't mind to have him back though, but Wrex should lead Grunt into battle.

Wrex is easily my favorite character in the series so far. The first time I saw him I was like "Hmm, the token big, stupid meat shield". Then lo and behold he's quick witted, insightful and has a snide answer for nearly everything.

"Don't ****** in my ear and tell me it's raining." remains one of my favorite lines ever.

Edit: got carried away and didn't actually answer the question. Heh.

I think making him a clan leader and (probably) uniting all the Krogan under his banner was definitely the right thing. Not only is he obviously a natural leader, but he has high ideals for his race, one of the options on Virmire leads to him saying:

"I decided to follow you because I wanted to fight for something more than just credits."

He lives to fight, but with a kind of savage nobility. I think he's the one hope for the Krogan to be able to carve out a successful 'civilisation'. Any other leader would just start a random war that would end up getting them all nuked by the council, again.

Either or, I like em both. Though Wrex I think might be better in a fight...really not sure.
