-No, loyalty missions do not count as side quests sice they are listed under missions not assignments. They are tied in to the main quest in same manner as are several of your ship upgrades.
-Right, because having (as an example) both Mordin and Grunt’s loyalty mission on the same planet is good? Because after all, Mordin’s loyalty mission couldn’t be on another planet? How unthinkable! Having one recruiting and one loyalty mission on the major planets would have worked a lot better than the cluster **** we got now.
Also who said anything about praising the Citadel quests? They were there because the Citadel was a hub location in ME1 there is no such place in ME2. I suppose you just loved those 5 minute (or less) side quests we have now. Lets turn on the shields on the platform and lets power up a robot so it can walk for 20 feet before needing another power up… so much fun. You have a vast chunk of a galaxy with absolutely nothing to do now in ME2, except scanning for crap. I would gladly see them use and reuse many of the building and ship layouts over being bored to death.
-If I had full access to all the rooms and decks on the Normandy from the start, Zaeed and Kasumi wouldn’t feel like the “almost made it in the game at launch” characters. I got a locked room and everyone is recruited, hmm I wonder if someone is missing? As for the crap that passes off as the cargo deck that the elevator seemingly cant get to, a better option would have been to have the Hammerhead already there even if its not the finalized version.
-Just because we didn’t see any Cerberus logo in ME1 wouldn’t mean that Shepard didn’t see it from any of the transmissions data logs or even from prior knowledge of them.
-The pop-ups listed are the only spot where they constantly show up, not some quick reminder like the mission ending ones. -As for the downloads already out, its not a matter of not liking them it’s a matter of quality. Especially with Zaeed being way to easily to recruit so early in the game.
But keep believing there is nothing wrong or that it didn't feel rushed in part with Mass Effect 2 at all and that it’s the Holy Grail of games.
