Most emotional moments:

Figuring out Garrus was a squad member. Unfortunately I was foolish enough to look on these boards and knew this a few weeks prior to launch :P

Going to the Normandy crash site in my second playthough- I looked in more detail and found a log by Pressly. It showed how over the course of the mission he went from hating aliens to trusting them with his life. The music and flashback picture of him gave me chills.

When Liara breaks down.

And the best one (in retrospect): one of the side missions is helping the colonists of Zhu's Hope. When you talk to the contractor, you find out that all of her children and her bond-mate are dead. Bioware really did that scene well. I wanted there to be a hug option.

And of course, Tali's quest. I personally didn't really like her, but after that quest my views have changed.

So many great emotional moments in this game, I can't pick one. It's been a long time since I've enjoyed the drama and emotion in a game so much, thank you Bioware! I'm definitely going to have a rough time waiting for the final installment in the trilogy >.<

When the normandy got taken out, and then reading pressly's datapad at the crash site.

Also, Tali's mission, finding her father. That coupled with the 'hug' interrupt made me really care for her character. She can come to Liara and I's wedding.

1. The unveiling of Normandy SR2

2. Garrus' loyalty mission when you stand in the way of his shot and eventually convince him to spare Sidonis. Was powerful for me because I taught him to be a Paragon in the first game, and I stuck to my philosophy.

3. Blowing the Collector ship to hell with Normandy's upgraded main cannon. Felt really good.

4. Shepards last speech before he departs to the core of the Collector base, leaving the others to guard the door.

5. When you decide to destroy the Collector base, the Illusive Man turns to Miranda and orders her to stop Shepard, only for her to cut him off. Shows that she's loyal to Shepard now.

6.The final conversation with the Illusive Man if you destroy the base, telling him that we can beat the Reapers without losing our humanity, and then shutting him off.

There are many more, too many to list.

Seeing Kaidan on Horizon was a 'finally there he is after two years of waiting" moment but the thing that really stirred something deep down as well was the Normandy crash site. Mainly because it holds my memories of Mass Effect 1 and it's really sad that part of my journey through the trilogy lies broken. (until you pick up ME1 again ofcourse ;) )

Tali Loyal Mission, if you doing it with Legion..

this plot is done perfect, 2 Admirals wanna retake the homeworld, while the other 2 wanna move on.

at a point you notice legion is right, but quarains are right also.

conclusion, their is no winner in war only 2 lossers.

This is what happened to me. On my first playthrough I mistakenly chose mordin for the vents, so he got shot and died and I was quite upset, because I hadn't expected it yet and I really liked his character.

Then, in the next part, Garrus got shot in a similar manner. MY FAVORITE CHARACTER GOT SHOT. I was about to throw the controller and say **** YOU Bioware, but then he was okay, and I exhaled. That was so scary for me

The begining was very emotional, I sat there with my mouth open, managing a very dramatic NO! as Shep was spaced. Then as it all came back together it was Horizon that got me again, after speaking to my first LI I felt so totally gutted and dejected.

The bit that scared me the most was Joker's quest, I didn't realise how helpless it would feel ingame with no weapon, made me really feel for the crewand the colonists.

Visting the Normandy crash site was really sad, especially reading the all names of the dead crew members.

The Quarian's video message to her family just before shes killed on Tali's loyalty mission.

When Garrus was wounded on omega.

And meny more.

After I killed the Human-Reaper for good and the platform collapsed, everything from then on was awesomely emotional.

First I was crapping myself at the thought of my squadmates, including Tali, being crushed, I was relieved when I found them alive.

Then there was the chase through the halls of the base, while Harbinger made it's monologue, it was heart pounding!

Then I had to make the jump, I was shaking like hell, completely scared of it, and I made it!

But what tops all of this is the finale, I looked at Zaeed's coffin, and tun around as my Shepherd looks towards the stars, and we see the Reaper horde approaching...

...I was like :O/:crying:

The intro when you're running to save Joker and walk out into exposed vacuum and the world slows down. You can see the glowing edges of the hull, the planet above, the breathing. I found the scene very immersive.

Letting the salarian die on the mission to recruit Thane. I had Mordin on my team, who offered a pleading "Shepard..." at the whole thing. I knew my Shep had crossed a line from being ruthless to being cruel at that point - I had to reload and take the paragon route.

Garrus being shot. NOT while on Omega, but afterwards in the ship when Jacob is breaking the news on just how bad his injuries are. I was dismayed, but then Garrus walks in all beat up but ready to go, I just had to grin. He really toughened up.

Jack holding up the barrier during the suicide mission. I felt really proud for her as character growth went. This angry, tortured, traumatized girl giving everything she had to keep the squad safe.

Although I should say Tali's seduction, I have to go with Garrus' comeback. That was air-punchingly awesome.  It was made even more so by the fact he was the only member of the original crew at that point to rejoin you, so you regained a loyal companion (he was with me all through ME1)

Yeah meeting Garrus again was awesome but when he got shot at the end of the mission, goddamn I thought I'd done something wrong and killed him already lol.

My moment though was the ending cut scene when Harbinger released control of that Collector, thing looked so sad to be let go and after learning they were originally the proetheans.. poor bastards

oh there's a bunch of great ones...

the prologue when the ship gets attacked it was really intense.. and then all of a sudden there's that section that's been breached and all you hear is shepard breathing and you save joker and then watching shep's suit get pierced and suffocating and falling to the planet below like a meteor...

and then when garrus was shot by the gunship.. i knew i hadnt saved my game, just had the autosave and i was like OH MY GOD **** **** WHY WHY DIDNT I JUST RENEGADE TAKE THAT DUDES TOOL GARRUS IS DEAD ITS MY FAULT! but i was relieved when he was alive

and if tali's with you at the end she almost falls off the platform and shepard jumps off to try to catch her and he keeps missing her hand but finally catches her

also tali's loyalty mission i agree.. it was more emotional than the other missions, when you discover her father's body and the things he'd done in a misguided way to show he loved her and then when shepard defends her at the trial.

first one was intense, 2 and 3 like almost made me defecate myself and the 4th was just sad and then sweet

oh and the whole end sequence was pretty crazy

On Tali's loyalty mission, when you listen to one of the recordings by a quarian woman. I can't remember exactly what it said, but she apologized, and then had a special message for her son. "Be good for Daddy, Mommy loves you very very much-" The voice acting was just so good, especially right before they killed her.
