When your talking to Tali after her loyalty mission and if trying to romance her when she says how she watched you do all the things in the first game then says "I've watched you for so long, and I never thought you'd see past, this"

The opening cinematic for sure.

I actually felt pretty bad for the little bug dude at the end, when harbinger abandons him.

Seeing the Normandy 2.0 was a really nice moment, I thought. Though I got distracted thinking about how much it resembles a whale.

Reuniting for Garrus was probably to me personally, I soon as I heard archangel was a turian I was all "please be Garrus please be Garrus" as I went through the mission, lol. He was always my favorite character, he's very fleshed out and well characterized, not to mention he has some of the funniest dialog (though he gets upstaged in that regard by Mordin in ME2.)

Even though I kinda hate Miranda and kept checking to see if I had enough sway to win back her loyalty before the final mission (every time I went to see her I said "Miraaanddaa, you done being a **** yet?") I still felt kinda bad when she croaked on my first playthrough. She died defending the door (even though everyone else was loyal.)

Legion's Memory

The asari (not Shiala) in the Feros help quest

The Collector General's pleading look when Harbinger says "YOU have FAILED! We will find another way"

When Garrus gets shot, I was so worried

Joker's quest, all the people screaming and being dragged away by husks gave me chills

The reveal of the SR2

Legion's first memory indeed. I gotta say when I did get Garrus back I wanted to high five him

Talitha's email. Made me smile and get a bit leaky in the eyeballs. I'd also just saw a really sad TV ad, you know the one about funerals and puppies and kids.

On Tali's loyalty mission, when you listen to one of the recordings by a quarian woman. I can't remember exactly what it said, but she apologized, and then had a special message for her son. "Be good for Daddy, Mommy loves you very very much-" The voice acting was just so good, especially right before they killed her.

Quarian mother gunned down on the Alarei.

This was one of the most disturbing scenes in the game for me thanks to the limited visuals and the great voice acting.

i wasn't really interested in Tali's character until after her loyalty mission, i felt bad for her when she found her father dead, and the last part of the trial was really well done.

apart from that im going with the suicide mission when you find your crew. i didn't leave soon enough so half of my crew, including Kelly got turned into goo, that was a let down. the suicide mission stressed me out though, i looked up one of the guides to make sure i didn't lose anyone. this time im probably going to lose Zaeed since i took the paragon route in his loyalty mission, and he was too dumb to pull out the sniper in the cut scene.

also reuniting withh the LI's from ME1, Liara has turned into her mother, and Ash is just so cold. her email was nice though. can't wait for the third game.

Off the top of my head, Tali's logs on Haestrom. Specifically, when she admits she wishes Shepard were there. Well, that's the warm and fuzzy moment, anyway. I'm not sure what else it might be.

Tali's reaction to her fathers death, more specifically the chance to cut her short and comfort her was also one such moment.

Honestly, ME2 was so full of emotional moments for me, it's hard to say which one was the most emotional.

I don't know why but one of the most emotional moments for me has always been seeing Miranda cry after talking to her sister. Seeing that kind of emotion from her of all people gets to me.

The Asari in Shialas little quest, having met both of her daughters and hearing of their deaths was heartbreaking.

Hugging Tali after finding her fathers body and pretty much everything involving her romance.

Paragon version of Mordin's loyalty mission. Seeing him struggle with possibly being wrong about the Krogan and genophage got to me.

Hugs for Tali, and the quarian log on the Alerai. That one actually left me with mouth agape.
It was a pretty dark moment, especially in a game so full of humour. Still, dark second chapter and all that...
EDIT: And Garrus being gunship'd. Boy howdy, was that a 'NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!' *fires wildly with machine gun* moment Image IPB

I used to like Tali but after coming onto the forums the obsession with her is getting rediculous. We should retitle this "Most emotional moment without tali" so we could actually here what people are saying. you thought hugging her after her dad died was sad, so did the other 3 million people playing

Another one who was caught by surprise when Garrus was taken out by the gunship. I was so convinced that I had missed something leading up to that point that would have saved his life, but I missed it, and he died.

Also, my breath might have been taken away the moment the doors opened and I saw that the Normandy SR1 had more than just a minor hull breach and some fire.

Oh, and then when Kaidan said his mind on Horizon and walked away. That was more of a stunned "wow... that was cold!" emotional response.
