I've cleared Insanity with a Soldier and I'm tempted to do it again with an Adept, but the idea of most of the interesting powers being useless is putting me off.

I rarely used the liked of throw and slam (to me, the ones that actually make you seem like a badass biotic warrior) with my biotic party members, due virtually every enemy having being tooled up with shields and/or armor with health bars that were so pathetic, that when you did strip down their defenses, they'd die with a headshot, which was quicker than using a power...

Soooo... Using the above setting in the coalesce config, does it just bypass shields and armor? Also, if anyone has already tried it on Insanity, did it make it too easy? My Soldier was pretty tough, using hardened adrenaline rush and fortification, but he could still take a lot of damage if I wasn't being careful, The Adept would be a lot more squishy as I'd probably take slam, not barrier, so maybe that would cancel out the advantage of the shield bypassing...

Thoughts? Oh and I'm not at the computer with all my steam games, so that's why I've not tested it myself. ;)

Just read in another topic that Singularity still has a pretty decent effect against Shielded/armored opponents, maybe it wouldn't be the monotonous, warp spamming experience I expected it to be....
