 I made a post earlier about how Mass Effect 2 repeatedly crashes to the desktop during combat - combined with the ridiculous saving restrictions, it really serves to ruin what would otherwise be an excellent experience.

Anyway, considering my experiences, it would appear that this crash is somehow tied to the camera zoom, and (possibly) Adrenaline Burst.

My System Specs are:

Windows Vista 64-bit Home Premium
Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 2.5 GHz (each)
4 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS
