Anyway, I think I was on one of the early N7 missions that unlock, and once I finished the mission the game tells you to hit F to leave the mission. I walk around the area a bit to make sure I picked up everything in the room, then decide to leave. I hit F to return to the Normandy. As soon as I hit F, I start hearing the "Death Music" and see the red around the screen of my veins as if I had taken serious damage. All the while, in the actual scene, I'm watching the shuttle to the normandy take off to return.
Then I get the screen saying I failed, and to resume last save. Well, I resumed last save, which was a quick save right before I hit return the first time, and well, it worked fine.
Unsure what to make of that, but there is no reason I should have died.
I don't remember the name of the mission. All I can say is that the last area of the mission is a big circle pretty much, but the left side has a bridge you can't cross until you go around. I believe the planet had Blue Suns on it. Across the circle is a computer you have to hack to finish the mission.
