Easy Fix.

Insanity is a complete different mode with everything balanced for it.

To counteract this, Insanity is an unlockable mode and once a new game is started on Insanity, you cannot change it.

I hope the improve the adept for ME 3 as that character is the only "true" ME 1 port that I personally played. All the others I downloaded because I couldn't be bothered to replay a perfect ME 1 game on characters that were level 55.

On Veteran, my Adept spent most of his time hiding behind crates, throwing singularity then smashing the enemy with a warp. Effective? Yes. Compelling gameplay? Hardly.

Everyone seems to focus on using biotic charge as an offense only ability. Earlier today i watched the vangaurd trailer and they pointed out that you can use it to get away from enemies in a hurry and get to cover and one or two other utility/defensive uses. Also biotic charge is not supposed to be used on large groups. It should only be used on one (maybe two) enemies. Not only that but you can blast an opponent with a shotgun immediatly following the charge.

Not one Throw. One POINT in Throw. Altogether different. One point in Throw allows you to lock down krogan who don't have defenses. They don't stand a chance. There's no chance of mistake. If he loses armor, he's dead, very simply.

You could kill him just as easy with singularity if he had no armor, without spending a single point in throw. So, again, no point.

During the first half of the game not all the enemies have defenses. This is particularly true of the first mission and Freedom's Progress. If you don't believe me, then play it again and count. I assure you, they are there.

Oh yes, those incredibly tough first 2 missions, boy it takes me forever to get past those. And on insanity, everything has protection except for the very first mech you kill when you wake up. I don't think on hardcore that any freedoms progress has any unprotected enemies either, btw. So your entire "first half of the game" is the 5 minute newbie mission.

True, but then again, isn't Singularity also one of those powers that you say is bad? Referencing that as an alternative doesn't strengthen your assertion. Moreover, you clearly don't have much experience using these powers. A Singularity has more framerates of animation before it fires, and you can miss with it. When the enemy is in your face but defenseless, Throw is the go-to power. It also has a significantly lower cooldown, so you're not completely out of options if something else turns up (like another krogan).

Throw also has situational uses, like killing enemies instantly by throwing them off ledges. That's actually a fairly useful ability on the lab world.

No. Read better. I didn't qualify. Besides which, it takes longer than 5 minutes to complete the station and FP. I would highly appreciate it if you can get rid of the elitist "I'm better than you," attitude. This is a game, and we're discussing it because talking about it is fun. It'd be more fun for everyone, I think, if you can focus on facts, and less on hyperbole and putting down people.

It may be as you say on Insanity. I've yet to play that. You may like playing that difficulty level, but please understand that if you do, you're an outlier. You are not normal, and certainly not the majority of target users. It makes sense that the most work on balancing the powers and gameplay take place on Normal, Veteran, and Hardcore levels. For the most part, I found the classes enjoyable at those levels.

Is it unfair that you're being marginalized? Yes. You can complain about it, if you like, but it's unrealistic to expect change at this point. All outliers are marginalized.

Since you think the first two missions are too short, how about the entire series of recruitment missions up to Horizon? Been playing those with Adept, and I've been using most of the entire slate of my powers, blowing through the missions faster than I've done with 3 classes previous. It's probable that I'm just getting better at the game, but going through these things this fast without even using headshot-level targeting is surprising, given your view of the class.

If the weakest class (supposedly) can use its powers to blow through the second-hardest difficulty of the game at nearly a dead run the whole way, where's the problem?

Is it really possible to be that dumb and still manage to get on the internet?

The first mission takes no more than 5 mins, 10 if you do everything.

You were compeltely wrong about protection and it's completely obvious you don't know wtf you are talking about. Nowhere have I said singularity is bad. Everything out of your mouth is completely nonsense and/or made up.

And obviously because you either too stupid or too ignorant to read the thread, this thread is about the classes on insanity. Not the little kiddie casual mode you play on that a trained monkey could master, as you have demonstrated.

Nothing? No real response? That's it? I was hoping for a more considered response. Looking over my save files, my average completion time for the first two missions was 50 minutes or so, going through all conversation options and cutscenes, as well as the fight sequences.

That's considerably more than 10 minutes. Did you look at your save files and times, or are you just guessing?

The first mission is not freedoms god damn progress. But it doesnt matter. Your whole argument was stupid and pointless. The enemies have tons of protection in both hardcore AND insanity.

You are obviously playing on neither and don't even belong in this thread, at least as a poster. Unless you've got a question. Hopefully it's "how do I sterlize mysel?f".
