I created a character in Mass effect 1 and chose ashley who hates aliens as a romance. Then in mass Effect 2 I tried to convince her to join the crew and she refuse. I was lonely and though to myself. I wonder what an alein would be like. Well sure enough their was this awesome quarian girl from the first game who saw my face when kaiden was killed and saw the pain I was in. She decided she wanted to embrace me and feel her skin on my skin. What a sacrifice the love was with her. Then came the though as I took the rise of tali in my chambers with the cuddling. I still loved ashley and though Ashley is coming back and as my hopes were confirmed. I also saw this wonderful alien girl next to me who had sacrifced her health to be with me. I don't know whats better and what will happen in ME 3 when the alien hater only solider of fortune woman who stole my heart away. Finds out I've been sleeping with her enemy.

Ashley doesn't seem like she has much interest in you at all during ME2. So I say to hell with her. At least those of use who romanced Liara got a somewhat warmer welcome.

It would be funny if in ME1 you romanced Ashley and Liara at the same time, dumped Ash for Liara, than dumped Liara for Tali. I have a felling that would cause a certain xenophobe to vote Terra Firma next election if solely out of spite.

This. Though she might have to punch a corpse if I get to Ashley first. It's like the people(Kaidan/Ashley) that had the brains to realize the reaper threat was real despite the council's crap have been indoctrinated or something. They won't listen to reason and utterly refuse to allow you to explain yourself, whereas your non human ME1 crew members(the ones with the most reason to object to Cerberus) have the sense to focus on the greater threat. Screw them.

Aye this. There is no Rivalry. Of the two, only one backed me up without hesitation when I needed them. The other whined about me not calling her while I was in a coma.

I'd put Ashley down myself if she tried anything. Horizon was all I needed to see about whose loyalties lied where.

Untrue. If for no other reason than I equipped Tali far better, and Ashley still insists on wearing that crappy pink Phoenix armor.

Also, she's outnumbered, thanks to the drone and me standing between them.

I was indifferent about the ME1 cast besides Tali who stays true to Shepard along with Garrus and Wrex is fighting his own fight as he wanted in ME1.  But after ME2 Bioware presented Ashley and Liara so negatively and untrustworthy that it actual hurt my Shepard.  They are going to work hard to regain my trust or they ain't getting on my boat.

As far as I am concerned, the ME2 crew completed my Shepard's loyalty mission when they passed the suicide run.

Geez, screw Ashley. At least with Liara she was somewhat nice if had a lot on her mind. Ashley was a complete mega****. Made me regret not killing her in the first game. But i just got to the part in a MShep savegame where i sacrificed Ashley instead, and Kaidan was slightly less of a complete jerk than romanced Ashley was.



Besides, Miranda is WAAAY better looking if you want to go human.

I wanted a Tali romance but I left the talking to late I think. I kept trying to choose the option to talk to her befor going in the omega 4 relay and she kept saying she was busy. And yes befor that I chose the romance options.
