Femshep, as I'm female and will play female characters when I can.

Also got some issues with Meer's voice acting, even if it has improved.

Oh and Femsheps gets Thane and Garrus so yeah!

Which do you guys prefer? Whether it be voice actors, facial options, love interest options, etc.

I would have to say that it is much more enjoyable playing the female shepard. The main reason for that is the actor. For some reason, I feel that the male voice over is very... monotone and hardly lacks emotion. Every time I play a male, I feel as if I HAVE to play renegade just so I don't have to hear the actor's attempts of expressing emotion, haha.

Another option for femshep has to be Garrus! That man is my hero. Should Shepard die, you should have the option to play Garrus in ME3.. Na, j/k... but that would be funny.

I prefer to play male characters, as it's easier for me to associate with them as a male.  That said, I do think Female shepards won out the LI lottery this time.  Thane, Garrus, and Jacob are more interesting to me than Miranda or Jack.  But I do like Tali's character, so that works.

I also pretend I have a bromance with Garrus.

I play BioWare games because they have a female hero option, so obviously, my Shepard's a chick. Having now watched my BF play a male Shepard, I can honestly say I prefer Hale's delivery and tone with her lines, too. Which, come to think of it, amazes me since I absolutely hated Basilla Shan's continually whining voice. I think that goes to prove how versatile she is. :D

Anyway, I have to admit I prefer the romantic interests for male shep, especially in ME2, so I'll wind up playing both, eventually. What cracks me up about BioWare games, though, is that by the end of the game, I'm *convinced* the right way to play the character is however it evolved the first time, so Shepard will always be a woman in my mind. :)

Uh you totally do. Have you spoken with him? You can joke around with him and talk about this one time he got laid.... It's all good. An even better bromance than Jacob I was happy to find.

I was uncertain if Bioware intended the bromance, since Jacob after finishing his dialog tree talks about going to a bar with you, and you guys do a handshake/hug when you talk with him.  I've had the "I had reach, she had flexibility" conversation with Garrus, but he just reverts to the "I'm busying fixing the guns" comment after that.

Oh yeah in that minor regard Jacob does have Garrus beat but Jacob is all business at first and you barely get him to open up.

Garrus on the other hand cracks wise with you and talks ****. But yeah he needs to take a break from calibrating stuff. I mean seriously.

Makes you wonder what gun he's calibrating. *Wink wink, nudge nudge.*
