Graphics problem with Mass effect 2, PC

I recently installed windows 7 64bit, the latest drivers for my nvidia 260, the latest version of directx, and still the textures and lighting/shading in the game looks horrible. I have all the graphics settings on max, but its definitely not how its supposed to look. Suggestions?

Start lowering your settings to try and isolate the problem.
