Okay, first, a check shows that every face option in ME 2 is exactly the same as ME 1.  Same options, same results.   Thus, if you wrote down the numbers you used in ME 1 (like I did), you should get the exact same result "importing" the character, as if you used those same numbers to build it from scratch in ME 2.  That is true--EXCEPT for eye color.  And I think just one of them!

For my Femshep, I used what I call the 6th iris color, though ME 2 calls it the 7th.  Regardless, it is "7" in the big string of numbers ME 2 will give you, and 6 "taps" from the far left.

Now, if you use these settings to make a face in ME 2, you get very light blue eyes, blue-grey in some lighting.   This does NOT match the imported eyes---the import eyes are much more blue, almost blue-violet.

And most importantly--THE IMPORTED EYE COLOR IS NOT AVAILABLE ANY OTHER WAY.  I cycled back and forth a zillion times, and saw the color change.  And took pics.  My imported ME 1 Shep, has an eye color you cannot get in ME 2 from the character creation screen.   The settings used to make them originally are the same, but somehow an ME 1 import has much "bluer" eyes.

Code:
753.9HQ.B1I.M7Q.DQJ.97G.19H.151.F5C.7M3.4G3.555  (though only the iris color matters really)

Image IPB

Imported face on top, ME 2 character creator on bottom.  These should be the exact same color--but they're not.  And the upper eye color cannot be acquired by making a character from scratch.  Glitch, intentional, etc?

PS-----interestingly, the code it gives me for my imported character, doesn't match at all.  You'll get a very different-looking person if you input those numbers.  Based on how ME 1 PC worked, I suspect they're actually the numbers for default Shep, they're just "overridden" in the game.
