Hey everyone, new to this site but been a fan of Bioware since the original Neverwinter Nights. Never had a problem with any of the prestigious games until Mass Effect. I have already beaten this game multiple times and haven't had to many problems up until now.

When running around I have noticed that my Audio is going haywire in that the gun blast sounds seem to start but fracture halfway through and stop way to early. Conversation is glitching out as well as the Audio often does not even play for the character voices. To top things off, at seemingly random intervals the sound of an aircraft flying about five feet above my character's head blasts through my speakers and shocking me quite thoroughly.

Also I am having a problem with the overheating bug, but that is a different matter and not quite as anooying...almost, but not quite.

To resolve this issue, I have reinstalled the game and downloaded the most recent patch but it still persists and I am reinstalling it again as we speak. I also have Bring Down the Sky and Mass Effect 2 installed if that matters.

If anyone has any suggestions let me know.

P.S. I do not think it is my sound drivers as none of my other audio functions exhibit these symptoms.
