 A while ago it was announced that DC Unlimited is going to be the company that would be creating the figurines for Dragon Age: Origins.  Series 1 will feature Duncan, Morrigan, Loghain, and Genlock.  An early image of what the figures look like:

As a figurine collector and hobbyist of various movie, game, and anime figures I'm pleased to see that DA:O will get figures released for it.  Judging by the images so far and their previous releases, personally I'm a little disappointed that it will be DC Unlimited producing the DA:O series of figures.  I would have preferred NECA, McFarlane Toys, or even Kotobukiya but I guess DCU will do.

Articulation looks decent enough.  Oh, and from what I've seen so far from that link I would rate the Genlock figure to be the best looking figure out of the four.  Duncan doesn't really look like Duncan at all (since when was he that angry?).  Morrigan looks passable, and is it just me or does Loghain bear some resemblance to Keanu Reeves?

But why Loghain, Duncan and that little hippo, why not other of the main cast? Well, I guess there will be a series 2 or so, but still, rather weird...



And yes, that's Keanu there...

Hmm... If there will be Oghren with a booze and Sten with some cookies, I am buying those. Or Oghren and Zevran as the famous Broma Brothers...

Well it's better than nothing. I might get the Morrigan one later(she has a bit of a strange face but otherwise look cool) and yes I agree, Loghain looks like Keanu Reeves:P The best looking one(and the most accurate one) is the Genlock

Agreed. I would have preferred NECA. Loved their Castlevania figures. None of these interest me much. I'm not fond of any of those characters and their faces seem off besides. I'll wait for series 2 and hope someone I like is included.

uhm, anyways.... the genlock looks most accurate of the bunch, yes... not as hard to get right as the others though, I suppose.
