Yeah nice Necro....
On to the point, There are a ton of holes in the plot....
My first question is still why use Shepard at all. Hell they spent a ton of money for him, billions in fact, just because he is a symbol? It makes no sense, they could have built a fleet with that cash. Also, if they really wanted Shepard because he was a symbol, y not clone him? If the average civilian wouldn't know the difference what is the big deal?
Another question, y did TIM not outfit the Normandy with all the upgrades? At least Jacob's and Miranda's could have been already put in. I mean, they are Cerberus Agents, y doesn't TIM know about their upgrades?
Why did TIM know about the other characters and chose them to begin with? He did not know the actual threat until Shepard went to Freedom's Progress, why obtain dossiers on random aliens/people? To continue that, why didn't TIM think about using Spectres or ex military individuals? If he wanted the best of the best, Spectres come into my mind. Yes, Mordin was in a task force but the rest were just random people. Jack herself is a stupid person to choose to help Cerberus. Hello? Pissed off Biotic Crazy who just so happens to hate Cerberus? Is TIM really that stupid? Same with Samara....An asari who has pledged her life into destroying evil is asked, by an organization that is considered a terrorist cell, to help them? What were the developers smoking because I want some of that!

I have a feeling the suicide mission was originally intended to be.. more suicidal.
At the moment it's pretty clean sailing to get everyone in and out, and most of them just stand around being extra guns, which was a complete anticlimax considering how much it was hyped that we needed this awesome team of badasses.
Imagine if everyone had a role that they all had to fulfill, and that you get to play the individual team-mate during that role. Imagine if you had to guage their responsibilities based more on their personalities and characteristics rather than just "he's a tech; put him in the vents". It would have been good to see some reactions based on Shepards gameplay as well - like if he's a sharp enough shooter in one section, there's significantly less resistance in the next section, etc. etc.
It's relatively easy to get everyone out without a single death provided you upgrade and read the blatantly obvious subtext. I was expecting it to be almost impossible to escape with everyone, and I probably would have preferred it that way.
