in regards in mass effect 3 and the possibility of seeing Tali's face, they could always have it as an optional thing. Like after you destroy / banish the reapers and decide to spend the rest of your days on the migrant fleet they give you a dialog option of seeing her face or not.

Hopefully they give you this option in the end....fits with my shepard since he has the spacer origin... only natural that he would live the rest of his life on the migrant fleet.

See, I would totally take that option. Living on a new homeworld or the migrant fleet would be the perfect ending to the story. That would be wicked if they made an ending to the game based on who your love interest was at the time.....food for thought??

   That seems to make the most sense.  Hopefully the DEVs think of this.

I was reading the Mass Effect Wiki, and found a nice little quote supposedly from an interview about Mass effect 3.



Casey Hudson commented that "Mass Effect 3 will have no updates in graphics, so it will be released as soon as it has been created, expect same planets and characters."



If they don't plan to add a new cast, Tali is pretty much sealed in, as of, well the whole ME2 cast. Then again, it is Wikipedia, this information could be totally incorrect. But with a planned 2011 release date, I wouldn't be suprise if it was correct.

This is how I feel, but it seems logical. We've spent all of this time developing relations with these new and older characters, trashing them all and throwing new ones at us would disapoint a lot of the fans who have been here since the beginning.

That's pretty great news. I mean, the graphics are already pretty awesome, and that means I don't have to upgrade. I get the feeling they'll punish people that let their teammates die by giving them a character that is like the one that died, but you can't really converse with them.

Well I hope that they have Samara back, Tali and Samara are my two favorite female characters in Mass Effect 2. Didn't like Jack or Miranda because they were sex icons and talking to them did them in even worse. Samara, yes looked like one but was far mature and as a perverted male like myself I was able to look past her chest, same could be said for Tali. Was more intrested in her story then her hips.

I recall a Casey interview where he states the intention of keeping the trilogy within the Xbox 360 capabilities and life cycle.  One can only presume the graphics are currently optimum as of ME2 with acceptable FPS for console gamers.

As long as it means ME3, and our special companion, return promptly

I support Tali, both as a squadmate, and as a love interest, and I support seeing her face.



I strongly feel that we should see her face. I felt it was very inconsistent to the formula of the game that we didn't see it, but Shepard did. I feel that the game has catered to the fact that the player and Shepard are one.



It was her enigma that captured our attention, It's a great build up, and finally seeing under the mask could be one of, if not the biggest pay off for some people.

I also liked Samara  more or less for the same reasons.   She's mature, and seems more confident than liara ever was.

   As for Tali, yes her story was interesting.......  but her hips, well, i was equally interested in those as well lol

Yeah, I'mm REALLY hoping ME3 comes out next year.

Ya, Tali needs to be in ME3. Ideally I'd want the entire crew back (minus those that died. You will be missed Legion) but I doubt that'll happen, so at least keep Tali. I don't need to see her face, just keep her in the squad damn it!
