anyways, but to the topic at hand, Tali.  honestly, and god forbid im the only one that thinks this, but, i have a feeling that we are reaching the end of things we can discuss with regards to tali.  i mean, ya, i understand not wanting to look through 115 pages to see if a question has been asked before, lord know i dont wanna, but, it seems that the same questions are starting to pop  over and over again with more frequency.  just me though.

ME3 definitely needs to let players further the Tali romance. I'd love for other characters to acknowledge the relationship, like Ash/Kaidan/Liara. Possibly marriage on the flotilla? It's a possibility.

hmm... maybe if its one of the long standing romances they could get hitched but I cant really see that happening, but if it did Tali would be the best cantidate because of how they started off without any input from you that she likes you this time.

I always thought that if you didn't pursue a relationship with anyone in ME1 and did in ME2, that the Frame would be of your LI in ME2.

still... having Tali as a Love Interest and Confronting Liara...
would be scary.

she'd use her biotics on me or since she's an informant looking for the shadow broker. she'd try to get Tali killed or Kidnapped. then i'd end up in a warehouse and she'd just finish torturing Tali. and i end up choosing between saving Tali and Killing Liara... or letting Liara Live. and end up getting Tali Killed.

Bye Bye Liara... you brought this upon yourself :3

Somehow i don't see that happening, don't really know why...
I posted a theory countless pages ago about a sort of bittersweet ending where the geth all download themselves into that superstructure Legion mentioned and help fighting the Reapers off. In fact, i can imagine the Reapers defeated but not destroyed and the geth remaining an entity watching out for their return.

How does it relate to Tali? The geth leave the Quarian homeworld and Tali returns to her people as one of their leaders and helps with the new start. She'll always love Shepard but it's their destiny is not to stay together. (of course they'd part ways only at the very end)

She doesn't seem to have the qualities of a leader imo, and if bioware did that it would make your romance seem like a fling =,(

hard to say.  the only thing we can do in the mean time is speculate on what we think will happen.  and, ive heard a lot good theories in this regard.  but, while, shep and tali may not get hitched, i do think that if you still pursue tali as a romance in me3 (assuming she survived the suicide mission), i dont think it unreasonable that shep fullfil talis fathers promise to build her a house on the quarian homeworld (if they do return to it all).

.... fine. just as long as this is the last i have to hear of it. anyways i always thought that too... i though Bioware would probably Replace Tali with Another Quarian. Some badass Soldier Quarian... you've seen how those turned out... they got themselves killed by a Mech.

Tali is an Engineer. She takes down the Mech while i distract it. We NEED Tali. We NEED Tali on our team. you can't replace her with another quarian or Engineer. she is the damned best. and darn it. she's good at it.

ME1 = Good at taking down shields; ME2 = good at taking down Shields and Barriers; ME3 = She's gonna repair stuff, take names, and show Shepard some Love. <3

Mass Effect 3 without Tali is like taking away the Engineer Ally.

a Strong and Heavy Balance between Soldier (health) Turian Agent, Garrus (Armor) and Quarian Engineer (Shields and Barriers)

.... it's a perfect combo.

im not gunna lie, at first all i read was a whole bunch of stupid (trying to make it not sound like a personal attack, i swear) at the start of this.  but, after some thought on my part, i finally got to what you were trying to say.

if they placed tali in some kind of leadership role on the flotilla (which tali has hinted in game that thats a distinct possibility), well, thats biowares choice.  it may not be what everyone that plays the game would want, but its certainly their perogative if they so choose to take this route.  but, it just doesnt make sense if you think about it logically.  yes, tali has always placed the needs of her people above her own.  tali says it comes with being a quarian.  but, i just dont see tali as the type that tries to advance her people by being in a position of power.  i could be mistaken, but i just dont see it.  but if they did that, and placed tali in a political position, and we get stuck with some second rate tali impersonation, a lot of people will be genuinely pissed, myself included.  so, i think in the long run, its better for bioware in general to avoid this course of action, and stick with tali being a squad member.

if you read the loading screens it says something like saying it's gonna have a huge effect on ME3

I think that they did that on purpose to build suspense for there return in ME3, what I really meant was that in the end of ME3 you and your LI part ways, as someone suggested earlier, tali leaves you to become quarian leader.

heh, i tried my damndest to stay faithful to ashley on my second playthrough.  i really did.  i was good until talking to tali and she broke out with the "..i never thought that youd see past (points to mask)...this."  it was game over for me at that point, and ash's portrait was again face down on my desk.  sooner or later imma have a save where i stay faithful to ash, and once i get my computer back up and running properly, ill get a me1 save where i dont have an LI so i can romance tali without any potential backlash in me3
