I just re-did my main shep with no romances because he's not a cheater so he's faithful to tali

heh, i tried my damndest to stay faithful to ashley on my second playthrough.  i really did.  i was good until talking to tali and she broke out with the "..i never thought that youd see past (points to mask)...this."  it was game over for me at that point, and ash's portrait was again face down on my desk.  sooner or later imma have a save where i stay faithful to ash, and once i get my computer back up and running properly, ill get a me1 save where i dont have an LI so i can romance tali without any potential backlash in me3

I got so sad when she said that  wanted to give her a hug:wub: Thats why i think she should get cured in ME3, she has been through so much, she deserves to be able to live outta that suit.

i don't like that they look at it as cheating on your first LI sure it may feel that way for Shep but to them you've been dead for two years.

for one. she was nearly exiled by the damned people she was willing to save. now they want to war with the geth.

Besides don't you think they have a line of people who could become Admirals? like Kaal'Reegar or others?

Sure Kaal'Reegar is a Soldier. but so was Captain Anderson, and its possible to have him become concilour. Having Tali Chosen isn't quite wise, sure she's smart. but she doesn't share the views in "Politics".
They'd Never Suggest her to Join them.
The Only Way Tali would Join is when she stops the Reapers. for good. then they'd see she's worthy.
Shepard had to prove Saren was a Rogue Spectre, and even then he got Lucky he was still on the loose so they made him a Spectre.

Humanity had to sacrifice many lives to save the council (if chosen) to finally offically join the concil.
now. what makes you think they're just gonna HAND OVER the spot to Tali? just cause her dad was Admiral.

i sorely doubt it.

but thats a good thought. that means. Tali'Zorah Vas Normandy. will stay. VAS NORMANDY

her name was changed for a reason.

nice.  i have a few saves on my 360 like that, but, i didnt buy the 360 version of me2.  i have just about every possible combination on my 360, but, i dont play it enough anymore to warrant running out and buying another copy of me2, at least for the time being.

 Man guys I got to go to bed, 5am here rofl, Tali FTW. Bioware conclude ME3 romances epically, let tali out of that dang suit, expecting to get to 3500-4000 posts tomorrow, was it worth staying up this late? in the words of Tali "it was worth it" <3 Peace out for now!

i agree with you.  but, im gunna nit pick at your post a little, sorry for doing itl mainly on the points regarding tali being seen as a possible "replacement" to her father.

so, that said, if you talk to tali later and ask her about if they will find a replacement for her father, tali tells you that some have put her name forward as a candidate.  also, talis states in the first game that parents accomplishments/heritage play a big role in future generations of quarian.  tali basically says that they expect her to be almost like her father, but, i get the feeling from tali that thats not what she wants.

but, as for the apology itself, i saw it as one of those "too little too late" sorta deals.

i toyed with that notion myself a few times, but tali toyed with my emotions, and i couldnt resist.  darned feminine wiles....
